This recent update killed it for me completely. It went from bad to worse, I can’t even load the game. Game gets stuck at 100% load and what is left only music playing. Someone playing with low end hardware have similar problems?
Though I’m not sure this is all hardware problem here, even after editing user file to the lowest possible graphics nothing happens.
I spent over 300 hours in this game and loved each minute of it, have 330 lvl character, participated in events, but now this happens.

It seems to have failed to get a proper patch. So getting file integrity checked or getting the patch again should make it work properly.

Probably not a hardware-related issue as mine is pretty bad and old.
Try to verify the files, or maybe even delete-redownload the latest patches. It’s most probably an issue with your game updating rather than a PC issue.
Low end hardware probably doesn’t help. Although many people with toasters seem to be running the game OK. Might be worth checking software / drivers.
Hello and thanks for quick reply. Validating steam files seems to find something, I tried doing it few times already and always get the same answer that 3 files failed to validate and will be re acquired. After that I get a download probably of those files that are size of 13 mb. But it doesn’t solve the problem and validating again get’s me same answer again and again. 3 files failed to validate.
I think I’ll have to delete the game to the last file and download it again from the scratch.

The game rarely got patch whiteout any problem.
This time some people just end up with a connection problem…

my hardware has windows 7 32bit and steam tos game only nothing else
cpu core 2 duo 8400 + 4 gb ram + videocard 1gb 6570+ win 7 32bit + net connection fiber optic 200mbps up/down + ping 40 to 75
played the game since last year with this rig no problem but now after patch game gets stuck at 100% load with music>>> out of 35 attempts atleast 3 times success but with map and chat message garble
, funny thing is even im stuck at 100% loading my friend can see me in game but not moving even i press keyboard and mouse
solutions tried
very integrity files on steam launcher
uninstall videocard driver and download the latest crimson
uninstall tos game and steam also and donwload new one
tried vertical refresh off on radeon settings
well im running out of options buying a new rig i think will certainly work but i would rather spend it on tp.
plz update if said hardware is now incompatible with the game i know its old but it works since last year

Yes. I’m a W8 32b user and I’m having that same issue. If someone who is having the same issue tries reinstalling their OS and change it to 64b, could you please post it here? Thank you very much in advance.

I took it from this post, so the issue seems to be the Windows 32b anyway. The only way to solve it properly is change the OS to 64b.

Well at least I’m glad to see I’m not the only one with this problem. I also use 32 bit and windows 10.

Been looking at other threads, someone solved the problem with turning firewall off. I tried the same, even antivirus was off, all files was validated successfully but problem still remained.
Funny how turning firewall back on gives the same “3 files failed to be verified and will be reacquired” message. If anything I still can’t connect.
I experience the same thing but with 60% loading the only way to recover is delete some files on the game folder which is found on Steam\steamapps\common\TreeOfSavior\release (dump folder and tempfiles folder) delete it all, then delete “chat_config xml” <- all of them. after that go verify integrity. hope it works for you
Nope, didn’t fixed anything at all.
guildmate of mine also encountered the same problem; he confirmed that after switching to 64bit win cleared it up. you’d also need around 3g ram to solve this.
