Why are the bots/gold sellers/whatever doing this when you can’t even trade silver? Are they stupid?
I can’t deal with these FPS drops anymore, I don’t even care about the messages themself.

You do realize to complete stop bots in ANY MMORPG, ANY, is basically impossible? sheesh man, the least you could do is tell them to make a filter, chat limit on megaphones, not banter.

Because you can still sell a random item for 300k on AH. Their trade block was useless.

Yes but every other game combats it with active staff, thats how you maintain it. Its a never ending battle and if anyone gave a â– â– â– â– they would do it.
The only thing active in this game though is the decline rate.
is it so hard to hire one dude to stay on and perma ban any account that starts shouting? or like i dont know, include some of their websites in their mass of censorship words e.e
Scams don’t need something they claim to work in order for the scam itself to work. All they need are gullible people, which is something we have a large population of.

Evidently not, if they have ever played ANY â– â– â– â– â– â– â– type of online game ever they would have some sort of general idea of what is going on / what actions need to be taken. But it seems like nobody did their homework and we can just ride the rails of every other trainwreck of a game nowadays ya?

Damn, every naysayer on this forum is really hostile. I don’t know if it’s because of language barriers or being too heated to converse properly, but you come on a little too strong. Either way, earlier during the day they had GMs online in the game trying to purge the sellers. Unfortunately, there seems to be a bit more gold sellers than they anticipated since as seen right now there’s still an abundance of them spamming.

Wait. Why is this person an ignorant ■■■■■■■? You just said it was an example but I don’t see any… well… I see a few that could be considered examples.
To everyone who really wants to know:
You combat bots and gold farming by HIRING AND STAFFING IN-GAME GMs TO AUTO BAN ANY AND ALL ACTIVITY LIKE THIS!
It’s simple and very difficult to work around since the product requires you to /yell /shout /ooc (whatever system is in the game) in order to reach out to clients.
THEN you add a report/block feature for the gamers to assist the GMs in their job.
It’s not impossible to do. It’s impossible to remove them all but you can very easily remove the majority of them. As questionable as the game itself was ESO did a very solid job of AoE (literally) banning bots. It was beautiful… and it required an in-game GM staff working around the clock.
Stop calling people “ignorant assholes” just because you don’t know how to solve a problem.

I do agree they need staff around the clock to ban these spammers.I can’t read any normal chat whatsoever.
I block a new one every 10 minutes and still see the spam. The only thing i gained was a huge block list.
A player report and auto chat ban system really needs to be in place.
I mean if 100 players block that player in 5~10 seconds it’s pretty obvious that’s a bot consensus.
