I simply can’t express my anger and sadness within this post, why did you guys wreck Kabbalists only C3 skill completely?
Why does it only add +100%/+120% flat additional damage for 3-9 hits every 30 seconds?
Do you even realize that there are tons of skill with better effects at lower Ranks, e.g. Running Shot, Aspergillum, Death Sentence, Shrink Body+Swell Left Arm attribute…?
Where is the mentality you showed by stating this:
This means that all classes in Class Rank 8 (both current and future) will provide equal combat abilities (attack skill factors) and will be hierarchically equivalent to one another.
?
Kabbalists C2 and C3 skills are also Rank 8/9 skills, but why are they so useless/weak in comparison to the other Rank 8 skills?
Why are you so afraid or adversed to making Kabbalist a good Class?..
To fix Gebura , I have two suggestions how to improve the skill and make it useful.
First of all, before I start:
Please scrap your mentality that a green circled Class always needs buffs that affect the whole party/other people. You’ve showed us that Green Circles like e.g. Chaplain/new Krivis can have self buffs that only benefit the caster (e.g. the new Daino, Aspergillum).
So to make Kabbalist better, I suggest that you scrap the idea that Gebura has to be used by other players and make it a self buff that only benefits the Kabbalist himself.
So either
- : make Geburah a self buff similar to Daino, but with 100% uptime (e.g. 500 seconds duration and 60 seconds CD time). The skill adds skilllevelx20% additional damage times the numeral induced as a debuff by Gematria/Notarikon to every attack for the skills duration, so it’s basically like Aspergillum but working with skills, too.
Example: Kabbalist uses level 5 Geburah. Then he attacks a target that was debuffed with Gematria and now has the numeral 8 above its head. Each attack deals 100%x8 = 800% damage.
The scaling of the skill could be changed if 1080% per hit on targets with a 9 is too much, but it shouldn’t drop under 8% per skillevel to stay viable on monsters with only low numbers.
The most important thing is that there is no hitlimit!!!
or
2. : make Geburah like Chaplains Aspergillum, but instead of an attack skill it triggers the Double Chance debuff (based on the highest level learned) when attacking at 5-10% chance per skillevel.
Example: Kabbalist casts level 5 Geburah and has level 7 Double Chance. His attacks/skills now have 25%/50% chance to induce the level 7 Double Chance debuff on the attacked enemies per hit.
both changes to the skill are not overpowered (as Chaplains Aspergillum and Quarrel Shooters Running Shot are potentially stronger and Gebrua is a Rank 9 skill, so it should be superior to all these skills by your definition of skill rebalancing & skill factors) and would greatly benefit the Class as a whole because it would then finally features a skill that synergizes with all those multihit skills featured in primarily the lower-Ranked Classes where the Class has to get its whole damage from.
