@mikai Thank you so much! This will give me something to do while I wait for the next beta test to start. One of my favorite parts of a game, is figuring out which class I am going to play in a game, and that seems to have a ton of info about them. Dragoons look awesome, though I’m probably biased cause I have a soft spot for Freya.

Hello there fellow traveler is nice to see that such a peculiar folk gained interest in this wonderful game and from what i can tell in all these posts it seems that you haven’t played the game yet is that right?
Well, in these forums you are gonna find all the right information for all your questions that you might have and speaking of a community we are all very dedicated gamers and MMO veterans that originated from many places of the world that ended up meeting each other on this small social community this game created, we are very kind towards players that share the same thoughts and interest for MMO’s we want and we are very passionate in this game in specific because this game is composed of the favorites thing we love about MMO’s, also we would like to make this community stronger and bigger so we can get as many people to know about this masterpiece of a game.
Like myself, i started my MMO journal with RO and most of my mmo experience came from that game specially. As i grew older i always wanted to have the same feeling i once had with RO since it was one of my first online games if not first that really threw me in a world where i was so engaged that i just couldn’t stop. Nowadays is really hard to re-act that feeling and this game has done it which i found amazing, such a refreshing experience of nowadays MMO’s
Now, i would not like to make this a wall of text but you seem like the guy that i would like to hangout in a party during a game so that’s why i went full throttle with my post, so please make yourself in home and welcome to ToS.

Well, I must say it’s nice to see see a topic with some life and not be a hot debate lol. I love to rp so I wouldn’t mind doing so inn game with the right people. Been playing mmos for along time so when I can play and build a character in game to rp it’s nice. Hope to see and hear from ya when we can all go nuts in the next test lol

I know right? I am with you on that, we may try before next beta make a RP community or something similar or even try to get into the same server, that way we can have our RP sessions (it sound like some kind of medical treatment lol).

Come into the realm of imagination of An Jeong Won or as she calls herself Maggi. As she was the primary reason what brings me upon Tree of Savior after recognizing her art style in the earliest advertisement for the title. As she was the primary character designer for Granado Espada.

ToS entire world visually caters upon Maggi design. With some may irk from her style.
There is however a familiar tune you will hear upon entering this new realm. SoundTemp is one of the composer of ToS has also composed majority of RO soundtrack. However ToS comprised of multiple composers from IMC history the development of GE, with multiple studios among them. SFA and Kevin the prominent ones which composition are the most popular soundtrack.
Lore wise, ToS is influence by Lithuanian Mythology but its often mistaken as Norse and relations to Yggdrasil.
ToS also have tidbits of reference to skills and characters existent in Granado Espada, as such the most obvious is the NPC Leticia.
Upon mechanics, I however relate ToS closer to a Game Boy Advance RPG. Sword of Mana. Which has the closets combat mechanics to ToS. and even requires the player to worship goddess as they proceed through the story.
Do make sure to plan your actions ahead of time and seek second opinion when choosing whatever path you take as you raise your ranks of classes.
But lastly each class is designed purposely to fit a role and customization to be at your most unique wonderful special snowflake if you pleased, emphasize fun more rather than spreadsheet mathematician. Though in my case I prefer choosing what is more aesthetic rather than logic.

I am trembling. Your writing is exactly the type of writing that I like, and I do tend to (over)write a lot too. I have trouble explaining myself in short sentences, whether in English or in my mother tongue, the issue stays the same.
I really want to write back in novel style, but unfortunately I am just not in the mood for it.
So, to explain why I trembled, I did decide not to leave a reply here until I saw that you posted a Hibike GIF yourself. (All hail KumiReina). Because it’s my most favorite anime this year, and I’m listening to the soundtrack of Hibike at this moment, if not even the same track played during the scene from the GIF (!). And yeah, Final Fantasy IX happens to be my most favorite RPG ever too.
Now it’d be rude not to reply and encourage somebody like you, to play ToS along with us. I’m a RO sucker too. In most games, I’m interested in the concepts and lores and stories behind them. I’m enjoying this game as much as I did with RO, though you have to dig into the story a bit by yourself. My current project involves recreating the introductory story to ToS in the form of a Victorian peep book. I am an art student, and MAGGI’s works on this game really really inspired me to be better.
Here’s the map of our new world. It has been changed before, but this is the current version.

I can’t wait either so no worries about hype I am too lol. I love dnd so the way tos is doing things has me veat a good computer right now loly excited for rp in game. If I wasn’t lazy I’d make a page for rp but not

Glad someone else saw how it was like the seiken series which is one major reason I wanted to play this. The other being that I can make a character close to how I would in dnd with a few exceptions but far better than my ultra warrior of light from ffxiv. Love ffxiv but Holy mother talk about being too bad ass least in this I can feel like being part of the world and community and not just it’s savior (pun intended).
