Gameplay clarity for new players (feedback and suggestions)

Hi! I’m not even sure if this is the right way to reach the right people responsible for these things, but I thought that I should try doing it. Here are some things that could be easily fixed in the game and make it a lot easier for new players to start and like the game (because it would be way less confusing, especially after the update, that makes a lot of information on the internet old and false).

I apologize in advance if this is not the right channel of communication for this and if my english is not easily understandable (it’s not my first language).

There are a list of topics that I wish were clearer when I started playing this game. Here are the most important ones:

1- There’s a loading screen (not sure if only one) with some false information about some stats (saying that CON raises Max Weight). It’s confusing, specially for new players, like me, that never heard of the updates.

2- I also feel that the “Character Information” menu is lacking some informations on:

a) how much each point of a stat gives for each “effect” or “substat” exactly (for example, 1 STR gives 2 of Physical attack),

b) the final values of some “effects” or “substats” (for example, there’s no way to know your attack speed at the momment and how much DEX raises it in game),

c) and also, some stats need a lot more clarity after the update (because they are more complex now). What I mean by clarity is access to information about how that value is used on the gameplay. (for example, we know how much physical defense we have, but we have no clue in-game about how it affects the damage we take. Same thing for block, evade, critical rate, critical attack…) Maybe if the formula was available to us in-game, a new player would feel less confused about the game mechanics.

3- Information about the taxes the players pay for doing services (like repair) are not shown to players, this is really bad for new players (it could make the player lose money without even knowing it, like I did).

4- Undroppable and sellable (on NPC) items should have 0 weight. There are some annoying items (like head gear items and quest potions [the potions can’t even be stored]) that you can’t easily get rid of. In such cases, their weight should be 0, because it keeps making our inventory full for no reason. My character has over 1000 weight of potions, for example.

Less important topics about clarity:

1- Consumable recipes are weird. Really makes no sense to use a recipe everytime you make an item. Maybe recipes should be bought on NPCs or acquired in quests/chests only and be permanent to the character. (I understand the idea of making it consumable for having this type of items on the players market, but it felt pretty weird for me as a new player, and I initially thought it was permanent. I even bought some cheap recipes thinking I should collect them)

2- No information on the rewards of completing the adventure journal achievements (it should tell me how much I earned and how much I will earn if I complete another level of that thing) and some bugged features (for example, my “achievements” xp bar is marking 700/330 and I can’t get the chest).

There are some other things that I could write about, but I’m not even sure that this message will actually reach the right people or even make a difference, so I probably should stop here.

Thank you!
