Then do what you can. As soon we start recording those things as soon they happens without thinking twice people will stop doing it. They’re doing it in team battle league to have their names shown up after all. Great way to counter them is to expose it.
I’m yet to find more people doing this but a guy from Orsha in question stopped doing it after I told people to start recording him :’)
Do you really think that is the only use of hook64? Or worst all the GM-activated command that is encrypted in the game file you downloaded? Oh sweet child you don’t even know how vulnerable this game is.
Then why don’t you start recording whenever you see it in game and report in a topic? Should work for all cases.
There’s a reason some channels are stopping to crash when you say you’re recording or asking people to do so. Everyone should start doing this. :’)
Agreed.Many people are fine using these exploits and hacks until their actual accounts are threatened more directly.It doesn’t have to be from IMC,if more than one player makes it known that they’ll record them and message staff about it,then it’s at least a little more likely to stop.
That’s basically our limits as players until IMC steps in to ban these people,reworks the game to not be so client sided,or both.
Go to my profile and look at top topics. Click more topics and you should find multiple threads created by me with videos on botters. Now go to Telsial server, and go to the spot where the video is recorded. Don’t be surprised because all of them are still alive and still botting till this day, and these was 4-5 months ago.
If IMC can’t ban these botters with videos provided, what makes you think they’ll even lift a finger to check on the players logs on some random player that are supposedly crashing the channel when there is no real way for the system to detect that?
¯\_(ツ)_/¯Again ~ My point isn’t to post here and forget. There isn’t much we can do about bots or hidden cheats. We should report them to IMC, yes.
My point is that if you record players who cheat on their main characters and such and keep exposing them you will most likely cause them to stop and reduce its occurrence.
What mostly make people quit/get angry at game is seeing like someone said top ranked players cheating or somehow when a guy with 2 or more 2 Lv.8 gems, +20 weapons and such runs randomly and kill people just by using movement speed potions at start of matches to crash channels when his team is losing. You can prevent these things from happening by openly recording and reporting them. If at least one is banned, 5 or more will stop abusing things like these.
I understand your point but at the same time it is a moot point. Yours can only be applied if the abuser are dumb enough to showcase his stuff. What about the people that are well hidden? Do you know 4 months ago players are able to dupes boss cubes? What about them? How do you record them as they are able to have unlimited cubes by just killing one WB?
Afaik the only idiots that got found out are the 2 EU guys that uses a +65 item in TBL when there are thousands of download of hook64, and let me tell you there are other programs than just hook64. How do you record those players that has crapload of stuff stored while being able to control the market which is one of the main point in a grinding game.
The best part is those same guys bought off all the TP token on market and they get free TP from IMC. So now cheaters have unlimited in game currency, while at the same time get thousands of TP as well. Legit players get ■■■■■■ in the ass while cheaters are rewarded by IMC! I honestly think there’s no point of me shedding more light to you because… eh I need to sleep.
I never told that they don’t exist. Yet, do what you can to handle cases you see. I’m not telling you to be a moderator or a person that will hunt cheaters down to the last one.
But if you ever see someone cheating, go ahead, record and report.
The more fuss about bans on these type of things the less users they will get. It’s not a matter of “hey, I’m removing all cheats of the world”. It’s more like, “hey, I caught you doing this in the character you love most, now everybody will know”. Because they’re taking risks on using it from now on, as people are starting to record and report their main character abusing things.
This won’t solve 100% of problems. But reducing those 10% (random number said) of people that do it openly and mess up the gameplay will already by something from now with recording and reporting.

They don’t even bother to patrol botters spot even when there are thousands of report on it in forum/reddit/facebook pages. The only real appearance we saw is of one GM called Durian who I kid you not banned the player that called him in shout chat on the botters. Heck, I even think non of IMC bottom feeder workers now even know how to open the game DB. Imbeciles.
You can’t for sure know who crashed it.
Was with a group of friends killing Dullahan among a bunch of others. Boss dies, we get cube and step away to pee, 2 left to do other things. And the channel crashes, and log back on and Dullhan is back.
We didn’t do it, but it appeared so whatever, kill it.
Then some guy pops up and goes all gloating “ha i caught you, i’m recording” all convinced he caught some people when he has no clue what goes on. He probably was bragging to his friends and guild he caught some people with his big head.
Same thing will happen with any attempt of hall of shame, people just want to see what they want to see. IMC fails at coding an understanding of their game’s workings.
A bunch of wannabe moderators are bigger fails.
Isn’t the goal of players to have fun during the time they play ? And staff to work in order to insure players still have fun ?
I can understood it doesn’t cost too much to right clic on suspicious (or obvious) botter/cheater, or post à bug report on a forum sometimes…
… But making ton of report and hunting people during month with only few move from staff at the end ? No thanks.
Tree of Savior is the only MMO that i play with no anti hacking protection system…
