In e-sports it already had been proven in 1v1 matches, 30ms ping vs 100ms ping will result in about 10-20% dps penalty. No to mention, an higher ping makes you miss the combo bonuses (especially the third-skill combo one) because the lower ping opponent had the time to escape it.
Meh. Of course itās also based on which kind of game, ToS isnāt an e-sport game so the ping needed for us to have a decent gameplay would be different. Like personally I never play CS when the ping is higher than 80 but with some others game 2xx ping is still fine for me. Some testers like steparu report that they get quite high latency when playing on Korea server but still have somewhat smooth game-play. So there is hope.
Us players from some other parts of the world always have to cop with 2xx-4xx ping and I have no hope that the game will ever be published in my country (nor I really want it to happen), so I am sure whatever will happen in the future, the lowest ping I will get is 2xx. If what you say is true then maybe I should just give up all hope on playing the game and start smacking my head somewhere.

On PvE we can play up to 250-300 and donāt worry so much. I just were concerned on pvp side but not a biggie.
at least mine is consistently bad 160-170 on 5 testsā¦
I think it will still be playable.

Got 110 ms from Germany. I guess thatās pretty good, but i still hope they launch with an EU serverā¦
If not, it will probably come later and then a lot of people would have to start all over

EDIT: I dont have much knowledge about this, but can they use South American and European Amazons servers together with NA servers, so we could connect to the nearest and the servers would connect betwen themselves through a dedicated link? Could we have a much lower ping using something like this?
