I really only made this post cuz I grew quite attached to some people on this forum while I had absolutely NO friends inside the game. Had ToS been a much more socially engaging game, it would have held my interest despite all of the flaws.
Every time I log on the game it’s just me out in the fields soloing trying to catch up to end game but from what I hear, even end game isn’t very social.
I think the two most restated complaints I made here have been the chat filter (even if some magical add-on helps make it tolerable, that filter needs to be destroyed and removed immediately) and the lack of private chat channels and/or zone chats. It seemed really really difficult to really put together social communities in that game, perhaps because the requirements for making a guild were really high (since guilds appeared to be mostly for PVP).
While ToS might evolve to be a fantastic game gameplay wise, I feel that the anti-social game design is one thing that will never change. People who make friends and grow fond of hanging out together in a game are much more likely to continue playing despite the flaws in the game, it also encourages sales of TP shop outfits and other cosmetics to show off to your friends. In my humble opinion I feel IMC is making poor choices by making the social aspect of an MMORPG their last priority.
But I digress. I’ve stated opinions and these opinions can be disagreed with since everyone’s idea of fun in a video game is different.

Exactly. So I don’t blame you if you get bored or have your reasons for just getting frustrated with the game, they’re your reasons and they’re personal to you and your experiences. It’s your opinion and take, man. As much as people detest the thought: There is no right or wrong answer when it comes to personal experiences from enjoyment.
I don’t have fun in OW because it’s literally the same crap I deal with in League, with less creative modes. That’s just me, and you see tons of people recommending the game to their friends and such.
Even the chat window is bugged af… Personally I got sick of not being able to talk and relog twice - three times in order to have it fixed. I started not to play the game anymore because it feels lonely. It’s like playing with bots in dungeons and lv100 missions… Towns are quiet too, despite the fact that more and more people are running everywhere. No one is chatting… Nothing! If you see a chat bubble above someone’s head, it is for a rush, a sale, a complaint or a different language guild.
I don’t know… Maybe it is just my fault and probably I am wrong. But that’s how I see it now. Too bad, I see many wonderful people on the forums. What is going on? Dammit…

How could you even consider that? Pacifist mode was so good and the thought of destroying that just hurt my soul.
…But I needed to know the whole story too. Hitting Papyrus at all made me wanna cry.

Curiosity got into me =p had to try it…my inner demon got bored so it decided to see if taking another route would affect the game … cause i noticed the game tune change depending on ur choices when i first started playing it XD

Sans is by far the hardest battle in the entire game.I like Undyne as a character but I will say I thought she seemed cooler in Genocide mode.
Everything else…? Try getting through Snowdin and staying any sort of comfortable while this is playing…
