Game crash during loading screen after lodge selection

Bug Description :
(select server, select character and channel and attempt to log in first, loading screen gets to about 99% second, audio stutters at 99% and stops, gets message “a problem has caused the program to stop working properly” and Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available)

Steps to reproduce the issue :

  1. start up TOS
  2. Load into Klaipeda server and choose character
  3. start log in to any channel
  4. load screen stops at 99% after audio confirming login.

Same here e_e
I restarted my computer, repaired the game and nothing works…
I’m using AMD too… AMD Phenom II X4 910…

I bet they’re not even gonna look at this… do they even know this is an issue? I did all the same stuff u did.

reset comp, reinstalled, tried to recover pc, Increased RAM available, tried diff addons to fix like guildnocrash and nothing worked.

Same thing happening to me since about 12 hours ago. I restarted my pc and tried reinstalling completely. It seems I can log into characters that are NOT in Klaipeda, but I can’t log into characters that ARE in Klaipeda.

We are aware of this issue and are closely monitoring to resolve this issue.
It would help us greatly if you could possibly help us by mentioning there was a temporary issue or has been lasted for a long time.
If you are still having issues logging in, please provide us screenshot/video to resolve through our support team.
If you include screenshots of this issue, it will help us resolve it much faster.

game ran fine as of Dec 16 2017 but at midnight on Dec 17 2017 I noticed I was unable to load in
I tried taking a screenshot and nothing happened but its the same as previous connection issue screenshot that prompted using the guildnocrash addon from the addon manager. That did nothing to fix it though I posted a ticket already on Dec 17 after 12 hours or troubleshooting and reinstallation. The most notable differences were the audio signaling a successful load into the game followed by audio failure and a windows message stating that “a problem has caused Tree of Savior to stop working properly” and that windows would send me information if a solution could be found to resolve the issue. No notifications have been received. I will check again and update this thread.

If I try logging in on ch1 enough times, it eventually let’s me through

Just tried it again and the issue remains. Am unable to open any steam related HUD’s/ take screenshots while load failure is active only action available is to close the windows message which subsequently closes game.

Ok ill try that
thx for that option I have avoided ch1 due to lag issues but maybe it will let me try it. Ill send an update after.

Tried your method and it still applies same failure to load successfully. I just wish I had some other type of information to send in to help…im sure I cant be the only one unable to load in. Though I spoke with some guild-mates and they’re noticing some issues but are able to log in it seems.

:sad: Its been an annoying 28 hours and I think this issue isn’t something I can fix on my side… Thank You IMC for replying and for the people who offered input. I’m gonna go sit in a corner and contemplate my return to the game.

Oh and yes my characters are in Klaipeda save 1 in the new 340 HG that I was able to load in but doing anything else like changing channels or leaving a map (basically anything requiring a load screen) still caused the crash.

Did you send the ticket?
Our support team will check it to resolve the issue.
As we informed before, please provide us screenshot/video to resolve through our support team.
If you include screenshots of this issue, it will help us resolve it much faster. :wink:

I cant take screenshots during the loading screen period (stated above). And yes I’ve posted a ticket about 15 hours ago.

Update: was able to log in and pass load screen for silute server, log out, then briefly able to log in on Klaipeda server.
Tried again to confirm a fix, was unable to load into Klaipeda server after trying method again.

note-on startup, loading is slower than usual
-loading screen shows up after 10-15 sec span of white screen and mouse wait circle
-flickering in bottom right corner of server selection screen after 3-5 sec black screen
-loading screen after lodge character selection lasts about 30-45 seconds before windows closing prompt.
-still unable to take screenshot, record video, or open steam HUD during post lodge load screen.

Could you guys answer the ticket? I used the same login that I used to start this thread to write the ticket so you should be able to see it.

I cant take any screenshot or video of the issue since I cant use hotkeys or view Steam HUD during the load screen process currently.

I officially have tried everything I could, and given you all the information I could come up with. If I need to send another ticket I will upon request, but I’ve been checking the last one I sent and it hasn’t been answered yet.

Description : Game loads normal until trying to load into game from lodge, then program stops working properly upon load screen reaching 99%
