Future Updates in the Transcendence System

Today we want to talk about the supply and consumption of Blessed Gems, and reveal a few updates we’re preparing for the transcendence system.

it’s good i still kept all my transcended quips for a full gem refund OwO
well save for a couple of stage 1 armors ‘w’;

so there will be possible to trade transcended items between chars? and all gems will be refunded?

we expect to increase the cap on how much Silver a character can own from 200 million to 1 billion

Incoming Inflation :prince:

After this update, Blessed Shards will drop not only from Hunting Grounds, but also from Elite monsters in regular fields starting at level 240. These monsters can drop up to 2 Shards at a time, but not if they are 30 or more levels below your character.

We will also be increasing the chances of acquiring Blessed Shards in Hunting Grounds by about 3 times (the drop rate of Elite Monsters, however, will be the same as those from regular fields).

Buff for bots :haha:

Good changes all round.

  • Reducing alt requirement
  • Alternate farming methods
  • New content
  • Better itemization and balance
  • Improvement in quality of life
  • Different uses for shards

These changes help address concerns players have had since Transcendence came out.

Still though, a primary concern is Enhancement, which needs to be addressed.

I have 3 characters over level 240. Before: 6 shards. After: 9.9 shards. I like that… I also like the rewards of the new area (shards… but also mats for the raid items). Transcendance won’t change much, but will be more finely tuned (10% increase at half cost) and be more useful at low level.

But the major change is undoubtedly to allow trading transcended items. You found a better weapon? Give your old one to an alt and start the process again with your new weapon.

Now the only question is… when?

I can not understand your ridiculous pictures
:tired:

what i can see this?

The chart displays the proportion and average attack of a Primus Raffye Sword. The real change is in the increase of the proportion of base attack, and decrease in Transcendece’s effectiveness.

Basically Base attack is being buffed and Transcendence is being nerfed.

u will lose 100% damage from trans but weapon base damage will be boosted  so damage of weapon will not change (if u will have trans10 after and before this changes)

Base damage being buffed means => Refinement indirectly buffed also?

:tired:

Base damage = base damage, the “raw” damages your weapon when not enhanced or transcended.
In the graph artesinka posted, En = Enhancement, and you can see it didn’t change. For weapons they’re simply making trans a bit less effective while making the base raw damages more important, balancing them. Enhancing won’t change for weapons, but it will indeed increase a little bit for equipments.
But… it’s all described in the post they posted anyway.

I was just assuming that Refinement/enhancement was based on %. So, increasing base damage (or raw dmg) would increase the bonus provided by Refinement.

But the formula isnt based on %, so my bad:

ATK (If refine level is inferior or equal to 5):
Level * (Stars + 2)
ATK (If refinle level is superior to 5):
(5 + (Level - 5) * 2) * (Stars + 2)

The chart is showing the effect that after the first transcedence you only got 10% , so after some stages it won’t be as powerful as it use to be , in other words, it benefits the earlier stages / new people using transcedence

it will be less powerful with new term of trans but still same with old term of trans :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

So are we getting ALL our invested shards back, or are we only getting back enough to trans 10 again.

If we are only getting enough to reach the same trans lvl then it’s complete bs. Don’t trans anything until update hits or else you’re spending twice as much.

Answer to your question’s already in the dev blog.

Given the changes in the amount of Blessed Gems necessary for transcendence, when the update hits we expect to reset all transcended items and compensate players with a set of Blessed Gems corresponding to the amount required for transcending their items back to the former stage (100% chance), but we’ll make a more detailed announcement when the patch is ready.

The damage between the old an new are the same

imo best way its (if u dont have very good weapon) to just use hammer and get shards back before patch day imo

Trans items tradeable and teamstorageable

nice

lets see how all of this turns out…

Will they give us the amount that was actually used to transcend to that level or the amount required to transcend to the same level in the new system?

Basically if we spent 50 gems to transcend to our current level, will they give us 50 gems back? Or since the cost is reduced by 50%, they will give us 25 gems?

I think that’s the confusion here.
