Future Quarrel builds?

Hi there,

I would like to create a new Quarrel Shooter und need some input here since I build 2 and both were not as satisfying as other characters Ive created in terms of raw dps/party play.

I saw a couple of builds that I dont understand and wanted to clarify what they do to ensure Im doing it right this time.
Ive seen guys with:

A - QS3 - Ranger(?, or A2, cannot remember) - SR2
A - QS3 - Scout3

I wonder what these builds are for and why they use QS in their builds

What I did build was:

A - QS3 - A2 - Rogue - Musk

Musketeer has a horrible synergy with QS because the weapon switch animation is so long after using Musk skills that you have to push the attributes at least at lvl 20~30 before it actually gives a sightly increase. Actually with lvl 0 you also seem to lose dps if you use Snipe/Covering Fire on cooldown instead of simply auto attacking.
Musk was a very bad idea and Rogue+A2 are also not good. While you want to use Kneeling Shot, you have to ensure that you are behind the target which turned out as impractical. Rogue alone was stronger then A2 and only A3 would top that with the extra attack speed+range while there would be no need to get behind a target.

On the other hand I could use Rogue as a strong single class and would have a slot for Falconer. Big downside: Multi Shot is only lvl 5 and Caltrops would be the only good skill that could profit from Circling when soloing maps before r7.

For now Im thinking of the following Builds:

A - QS3 - Wugu2 - Canno2
A - QS3 - Rogue - Falconer - Canno2
A - QS3 - Scout - A3 - Falconer

But Im very unsure, especialy because I havent seen a single Quarrel based Cannoneer on Youtube and dont know if Running Shot actually increases attack speed and attacks from Bazooka.

Can someone help me with this?

A1>QS3>A2>SR2
A1>QS3>Wugu3
A1>QS3>A2>Fal2
A1>QS3>Scout3

First 2 builds are quite popular. SR2 is future-proof with SR3 being extremely strong in aoe. Having QS3 instead of R3 will mean slightly less aoe dmg but significantly better single-target/trash clearing ability.
Wugu3 is a strong bosser, might not be as good as fletcher but I still see it quite often. Not sure what to do for R8 so I might advise against this path.
3rd build is more support, but a ton of fun to play. Also future proof with falc3 being released.
QS3>Scout3, most people just go A3>Scout3 but QS3>Scout3 would work very well as a dungeon farmer.

Im more interessted in QS cannoneer tbh.
It was just to clarify in case Ive overseen something huge.

I have met someone yesterday who had an A2 QS3 SR2 and explained me what works together and what not. And honestly Im disappointed by that and think QS is not a good idea for SR.

And youtube already has footage from a korean Falconer3 player.

that player has hunter 1 instead of a2 which is a no-no imo. 2 pet classes will make you feel gimped. as a falconer if you are lazy and hit call + circling while being hit your falcon can lock up for about 5-6 seconds before using circling. This guy also has hovering which makes his first strike single target 50% of the time instead of AoE and higher damage with blind chance from sonic strike.

That falconer seems to be a pvp build and is complaining about his lack of ability in pve.

Falcon1 cannon2 and falcon1 musket2 both seem quite stronger

I personally think SR3 is better than both, but it’s all preference at that point

for pvp i’d say cannoneer is better with a scout circle

QS’s synergy with SR is okay, ranger is probably better if you’re looking for ET or overall damage. I just think that steady aim and barrage are better for an SR setup than running shot and also some QS skills can’t be used mounted (it’s pavise and stone picking i think). QS SR seems like a fun build, but ranger SR definitely looks stronger its pretty good in GVG as well
QS cannoneer is a great pvp build btw, i’d combine it with a scout if you want to pvp quarrel has good synergy with musketeer and cannoneer
falconer 1 can be used for pve but in my experience from playing falconer musket that class is a waste of a circle. Especially if you’re going to pvp
but that’s just my opinion, others might like it.
i cannot really recommend any other builds since you haven’t told us if its for pvp or pve

Main question still around: does Running Shot effect Bazooka in terms of dmg and aspd?

while there’s no required stance for running shot, there is for bazooka, (bow and cannon)
i don’t think running shot makes bazooka stronger, or faster because running shot affects your main weapon and your cannon is a sub weapon.
just like trying to shoot your manamana or stab with arde dagger during running shot, you’ll see that it doesn’t affect the damage at all.
i still think QS is pretty good with cannoneer, that way you have both good single target and aoe damage.

It have effect for skill name Bazooka (Cannon-kneeling shot not mean normal C button for use Cannon type). Just have addition dmg (you will see dmg pop up 2 time in vid). I don’t see it faster (Maybe because default speed of Bazooka too slow 30%aspd just like nothing).

Thats nice to know but the missing attack speed effect makes it very bitter.
Quarrel was always outshined by Fletcher and this isnt changing now even in combination with a rank 7+8 class combo. It wasnt possible without highlvl Quicken and Kneeling Shot to apply dmg even close to others.

I feel betrayed somehow =/

So, its official: RIP QS.

i wouldn’t pick QS unless i wanted to pvp with an archer.
for pve there are indeed better options.

I have found running moveable bazooka however I cannot confirm whether this is a bug or intended:

QS running shot is still OK duration & single target damage for free (low sp cost). Great to destroy objects too. Requires the new marvel cross + new cafri set. Pavise & Caltrops will always remain useful utility.

If it can move like that it will become a good one. Just use running shot z combine with c lol.

I have my doubts that this will work… ToS seems to have a protection mechanic that forces the character to perform the full animation. There are some exceptions but I think Bazooka wont be one of them.
Remember that the devs were involved in Ragnarok Online which had serious problem with Tools that were able to break animations (aka 0delay).
Personally I believe that its serverside and that also seems to be the main problem why Quarrel is slow on iToS. That is also the problem why the character sometimes doesnt perform the skill and is stuck for 2-3 seconds. The server simply doesnt respond earlier.
The pings are bad here, Korea is far ahead in terms of the ping and this is why the korean devs basicly have no â– â– â– â– â– â– â–  idea whats going on at iToS.

I’m having this stipulation too, and now I’m at a2 qs2, obviously going to qs3. I’m thinking of qs3 wugu2 hakka, is it a viable option?? Because I heard that running shot will be obsolete with sr3 skills that means I suffer 2 ranks of qs for nothing.

SR3 skills still have High CD running shot is a filler during the CD. So it’s fine.

RS is on 100% uptime in upcoming. It’s not really bad With MCG + RS + Divine might.

You basically can auto attack to fill in the damage.

Only key issue is Ping. It’s fills in as a limacon ver 2. Limacon can outdo RS damage but require extreme high investment.

As for hakka i am not sure and not touch it yet. Will require a experienced hakka player to highlight

The new “trendy” amount Brasiliians in Silute is bad mouthing QS3 in SR builds . Some say A2 R3 SR is way superior than A2 QS3 SR3.

They argument is that Steady Aim , and bursts like Spiral , Barrage, bounce are far superior than what QS has to offer .

I particularly disagree , I’m not even gonna Be a Doomsday foretelling that in rank 9 there is gonna be way better burst than Rank 2 burst. But As a A2-QS3-SR3 myself , with Didel GC (looking for Marble) and Running shot Gem ,RS is way better than the new Limacon,using Caltrops for stop the mobs combs nice with Assault and Retreat if there is a wall close … The lack of Steady aim 10 sec buff can be replaced by Rapid fire attribute that removes the mob critical resistance , at least for PVE it works nice.

I’m not saying QS3 is a better choice than R3 , but they’re different, burst against cc .

I totally agree with you, but for all silute future qs3 i have to say, please dont do it. Rs give almost 0 aspd bonus if u have 200 or more of latency. Our qs3 never is gonnq be like the koreans who are really machine guns
