wait!!

No Out of Body/ Crash balance?_?

the ability to crash my game 70% of the time OoB is used is OP…

it strikes fear in the soul of any sadhu and make them not want to use OoB ever again…

is funny I remember when 95% of all swordsman were barbarians in ibt2 xD

Please have some love for CHAPLAINS :frowning:

I think the fact that almost all if not all cleric bots been chaplain, has lead to a false sense that the class is doing great…

Chaplain is only good at their AA nonsense at r5. Thats where all the bots are. I already told imc multiple times, dont get blinded by that fact… Iike you said, false senses. Its actually pretty weak. Lol. Doesnt offer that much to dps role or support role. Hidden class my balls… Miko on the other hand is a good hidden class with support and dps power. Smh.

Barbarian,Cannoneer,Rune Caster and Monk…

With the exemption of Monk, I cannot really understand the extra attention these classes are recieving for rebalancing.

Barbarian is extremely good in comparison to many other Rank 3 Classes, his skills have AoE and mostly overcharges+ low CD times.

Cannoneer is ok,too. I don’t believe that there is any profit in it by making the ridicuously strong Archer even stronger via giving more classes highly destructive AoE attacks. Remember, it’s a “Cannoneer”, not a modern artillery vehicle, that’s carrying around a hand bombard [the term cannon is exclusively used for artillery mounted onto a carriage/vehicle/military building], resembling the sino-mongolian ones from the ~13th century A.D.
The damage values and CD times also seem well enough, considering it’s a Rank 7+ class [meaning there will be lots of attack fillers from previous ranks during CD and Bazooka-mode].

Rune Caster already got buffed previously, and making more skills available based on the fact which classes are mostly used is creating even more meta builds (unless you plan to exactly disable prominent classes from using their skills during Rune of Giants[e.g. Warlock,Pyromancer,Elementalist] and enable the less-played classes [e.g. Thaumaturge,Alchemist,Featherfoot,Enchanter] to use their skills to shift class attention and builds).

  • We plan to continue expanding the list of skills available when in the Rune of Giants state.
  • After considering which classes are the most often used in a Rune Caster build, we will examine the skills of those classes and see which ones can be used alongside Rune of Giants without any problems.

This would be working against ± everything you stated as “what we want to achieve”:

  1. Each class should have its own characteristics and roles.

  • Rune Caster would turn into a support class for certain classes like Chaplain is for Priest
  1. Adjustments should be carefully planned to avoid one class dominating its rank or being left out, and to achieve a fairly equal distribution of classes in each rank.

  • by checking the data of meta builds including Rune Caster and considering the useage of skills according to it, you’re strengthening the meta of the builds, resulting in classes getting obsolete/weak/etc. compared to others. The same story as to how Agni necklace broke the balance between certain Rank classes.
  1. Rather than letting one class become too good to the point of self-reliance, we should devise a plan to encourage different types of classes to work together and develop new play strategies.

  • again, this argument is countered by your plan to only let certain classes use certain skills during Rune of Giants. This isn’t “working together” but rather “class dependency”. Also, aren’t the most used classes in builds already “too good” to the point of self-reliance? What’s with that overly strong Linker e.g.? How about giving Rune of Justice a property that lets monsters share damage the same way as Joint Penalty does, but with less targets (maximum number of 5, so that it can substitute for C1 Linker)?
Meta is really strong inside Wizard tree and it’s hard to break that up because some classes are just so insanely strong/useful compared to others. If you want to work against meta, you have to enable more classes to fit in specific roles, not by making some classes unavoidable (e.g. Cleric C2 (for heal), Peltasta C1+ (for provoking), Linker C1+(for insane damage boost&utility))…

don’t forget corsair buffs :3

Moreover, in 2017 we hope to emphasize PvP balance patches to answer the needs of players from all around the world. We’re attentively examining all issues regarding the Team Battle League, Regional GvG and general PvP.

Nerf Ausrine, nerf r7, nerf Inquisitor as a whole, make pvp great again (it was never great tho).
