What are the best options for Rank 3 and Rank 4 for a dex archer?
Sapper c2 for broom trap?
Archer c3 + something?

You dont go full dex. As yo your question, the answer is either a3 - r1 or a2- sapper 2. Both have their good and bad points.
you can also go A2>ranger>scout>fletcher3, btw full dex is inferior to a good balance of str/dex/con

A2>Ranger2 is not the way to go, it’s a korean build, here in iTos it doesn’t make sense

BTW what will happen if I go full dex? I was assuming I would just crit a lot (weak crits) and evade often – is there something big i’m missing?
In this game Dex not + dmg . Just crit rate evation ,etc…
Str + in to your dmg.
What is the point of high Crit but no dmg at all ?
You will need Con too. Cuz in late game. The mobs hit hard and you cant dodge dmg form Mage mobs
Archer C3 with a full dex build is actually really nice if your goal is pure evasion with moderate DPS, 20% increased evasion for 60 seconds isn’t something to scoff at
You still want some in con though, some of the level 260+ will 1hko you if you dont have over 15-16k health.
Ranger1 is a great rank for any build, makes your magic arrow dps pretty strong for bursting and Barrage is a fantastic skill at 1 rank.
A2>R2>F3 ITS MY OPTION,

That and r2 being useless in this build. Go with your option, but don’t propagate it to others - it’s enough that you will have to reroll already ^^
Scout1 is the world bossing meta right now because the move speed from cloak is more useful than anything else for finding random world boss spawns.
There are some bosses in this game where evasion is more useful because of how many undodgable knock-back skills the boss has. There are other bosses where evasion is less useful and min-maxed dps is better because they’re just walking damage sponges and don’t do anything threatening.
I think going 1:1 STR:DEX with 30-70 into CON kind of gives you a nice balance in all scenarios. At the end of the day it will mostly depend on your skill as a player and how efficient you are with keeping damage uptime as well as dodging boss attacks.
