Full Dark DPS Wizard Build: Wiz 3 > Linker > Sorc 2 > Warlock explained in details

I’m almost 100% sure it’s any source of dark damage.

I got it (the attribute) only yesterday, the only test I did was to keep myself on my Pole of Agony while mobs were walking onto it.

I think this attribute could work very well with that new Warlock skill that makes spirits follow you, if they get activated while doing so it would be a major damage improvement for Warlock.

Can i ask, what is the build for this one? sorry im quite new so i dont know the stats… is it 3:1 Int:con? Thanks!

CON doesn’t have rank multipliers so you should either go Full CON (not advisable for a Sorcerer) or choose a fixed amount of CON.

I got 132 CON at the moment, that gives me a good HP pool to play on PvP, where this build can deal HUGE bursts.

I generaly do 150k+ damage on TBL if I don’t get stuck on FPS.

At 267 I have ~400 INT so that’s around 3:1 INT : CON as you said.

If HP cards from the new system work on PvP I’ll wait for a re-stat and go full INT, and use 7~10 x 1200 HP Cards.

What do u think guys?

For pvp aspects, considering what we know about Necro C3, what’s your opinion about the effectiveness of wiz3/link2/necro2 and wiz3/link/sorc/necro2 builds?

wiz 3 linker is already broken (it makes you a 1 trick pony though) and becomes even more broken when you hit necro.

wiz 3 linker 2 necro 2 really good and futureproof

wiz 3 linker sorc necro 2 decent but without ai and special skill from sorc 2 then your summon is a decent tank. Not recommended unless you want to macro afk.

WIz 3 > Linker is enough to finish any 5~6 mob pack right now, not sure on how Linker will change in the near future but this is very OP in the moment.

I think for PvP aspects you should not got Linker 2, it doesn’t break easily right now so you only need linker 2+ for PvE, Sorc brings a lot more even with only 5 bats and stupid TS. Sorc > Necro > Warlock would to me be the best way to go on PvP after Wiz 3 > Linker build, Necro 2 is good enough if you want Necro 3.

I have some few concerns about Sorcerer on pvp:

  1. I’ve seen some videos where the TS attacks seem kinda slow, which makes the enemy doesn’t get hit consistently because he can just run and don’t receive damage.
  2. I’m thinking about Linker 2 to improve the total hits JP can share across the linked enemies. Only 1 Flesh Cannon hits 16 times. If you JP + HK three enemies, you hit 48 times. And only if we consider that no one on your team won’t hit with something not as valuable as your FC.
  3. As an additional point, maybe we might share R8 buffs through Spiritual Chain.

im curious about this guide, when aiming for a field boss with different players competing for the ranks to gain loot. what rank do you always get? or during dungeon runs ?. TYIA

Hi, im 240 dark wizard right know. In world bosses I dont get a rank in dps, much others win me, but you are good dps filler in a party.
In siaulai mission normally I’m third or second, but this is because I can link the two bosses and do double damage after the merge the link dont break with the number of hits, its breaks on timeout, if the boss dont move much. Few times im the first in dps for the reason mentioned above.

I have 1120 magic attack, 158 magic amplification, fire damage for arde dage, temple shooter 6 stars only, bats and magic massiles at lvl 50, warlock dark theurge lvl 20 only.

TS is only good if you keep the enemy busy. Generaly on 2vs2 it hits less times, but on 5vs5 and GvG it can land much more hits if you can do a good positioning with him.

Try to keep yourself close enough to him so he can attack enemies near you. ALWAYS keep him under Hold or Ride. If you leave him walking he will be always bugged running for someone or coming back to you. Try to always keep him close to heavy combats and to yourself.

If you are Necro 2 I honestly think Linker 2 is a must. Basicaly for the reason you mentioned, once JP comes back to normal you will only deal 1 FC on all targets and your link will most likely be over already. To be honest +5 AoE attack ratio from Sorcerer is bad for Necro because it makes FC hit more targets and break links faster, and walking stupid TS with no nuke skills is not that useful.

Think about it, if you use up 48 hits from JP you are actualy only dealing 16 hits / 48 hits consumed on damage, as for Maximum Link damage you are only dealing 33% of your maximum damage from hitting as much as 3 targets.

That’s the reason I took Familiars and Theurge on my build, both together don’t even break JP level 5.

I don’t really like Spiritual Chain but yeah, that’s possible, not like R8 classes seem to have buffs beside Levitate (which would be cool but Flying Team might be weird?)

I have never done field boss hunting, I’m still at level 267, got only +6 sup corona and attributes ~40. I play at 2~5 fps on TBL so I guess boss hunting would just crash my game (I tried it once and it simply stopped)

TS DPS adds up to 1,5 x Hit Damage / Second according to my calculations. Be it by crits or hidden more than 2 hits/ 2sec aspd, that’s what I achieved after several tests on him.

My TS got ~4,2k attack at 635 INT (full INT), that adds up to ~6,3k additional DPS not considering skills you cast, all you have to do is position him.

Damage from Links are counted as yours.

Dungeon runs I get 2~3 on Golem, 1~2 on the last three.

Dark Theurge and Pole of Agony both deal very good damage against bosses if you play it well. Templeshooter should be 10 stars for MUCH more damage and you have to always Hold him near the boss. Good stats though.

Just wanna ask how will the linker nerf affect your build now? Is It still the same as before?

With the way it was all I needed for the 5~6 mob-pack was MM.

Now what I need is Dark Theurge + Familiars, which was my standart combo to begin with.

We still have to see if MM + JP is as it was before or if it got at least a bit improved (mine seemed to do 50% damage hits sometimes on JP).

About DT isnt it a little bit risky if you need to go to a melee range for it in a high int low con stats build?

Sendo TS first or wait for your party.

You have to get almost meelee close anyway to use Linker at it’s best anyway.

I got ~12k HP with 632 INT (full INT at level 267) and got no regrets.

Everything is risky, it’s up to what you like. If what you like is sitting in the back and casting a Frost Cloud to kill whoever is there you should just go Ele 3, it’s safer and more effective against large crowds like ET. I’m in love with my TS hitting 8~12k+ each 2 seconds. He can easily keep aggro to be honest.

so basically bath company is used just to line up your evil spirits?

No, I actualy think Bath Company makes the Spirits behind you do a few things:

  • Activate Invocation’s attribute for +30% dark damage.

  • Invocation Spirits start using Dark Theurge’s damage attribute.

  • Act as an AoE for 5 seconds dealing hits as fast as those from Dark Theurge. This would mean the more spirits you have the bigger the AoE you can make, at level 330 this might be enough to wipe mobs from ET in those 5 seconds.

  • In the optimal case, give some sort of Invincibility or Invulnerability since it only lasts for 5 seconds.

In the case they act as normal spirits, only guided by you but still dealing the same number of hits, this would not be a really great skill, though still useful when you have many leftovers from a dead pack of mobs.

As of now (with what I have on informations), I’m going like this:

If Linker stay the way it is now forever, and both Warlock and Sage are crap, this is completely viable too:

PvP version just trade Linker 2 for Sorc 3 (hits like a truck there, Bats + Theurge + Links + MM + QC is all you need for damage)

“Drain”, being able to absorb spirits and fire them with regular attacks is not a great skill for Sorcs either since our boss summon doesn’t create evil spirits…
