I realized an Overall FPS drops since todays maintenance 26/07
It dropped from 100 to 50~60 in areas crowded with monsters and 5~10 fps in crowded towns in my PC, it’s even much worse in my gfs notebook. She used to be able to run Siauliai with a solid 25~30 Fps, now after the maintenance she is getting 10~15 FPS.
Hope it gets fixed we really don’t wanna quit :S
Is it only me or is it anyone else having trouble with that again?

I’m the only one that just noticed maps now have special effects? I was farming at Mage tower past weekend and I swear there was no lightning effects there (like lightning flashing effects).
I don’t remember Pauppys Crossing to have raining effects nor the lamp posts being lit…
Orsha is hell with the leaves falling down. Something happened with the FPS for sure. i went from 60 fps to 40/30 while farming on maps with lots of vegetation.
@cthulhu.god.master your display/visuals game settings probly got reset after patch an set to auto/high, try going in low mode then check all the boxes then uncheck them to disable.
I also have seen fps drop after maintenance sadly.

I don’t mind the rain visual and sound effects, they look cool. Some maps have like dust flying around, fog etc; they look cool.
My FPS goes to hell whenever you do the quests that require some sort of “energy” extraction like the one in Crystal Mines 3F. The blue visual effect that appears while you are extracting the energy makes my FPS goes down to 15/20 or even 5 whenever there are people around me while extracting.
I think something was changed on the “animations calls”. I’m going to check the LUA and XML that carries the animation calls and see if some of those have high calls and change them to a lower number.
I haven’t played for 1 month and decided to come back today. I expected that they fixed FPS a bit, since they can’t do much about engine. But man, I used to play with 40-60 FPS when I solo grinded and 20 FPS in towns. But they completly made game unplayble for me, right now this is 10-20FPS on solo grind and 1-5 FPS in PVP and in town. How could this went so bad lol.

This has been already stated in the “Known issues” after the recent patch =))
