Update:
I know that in fact we just paid for sweets (Token, tp, hats, pet, etc). And i’m not trying to get money back, or not going to go to some kind of court to get compensation. I invested it in IMC to have better product in future, nice service, and to say “Thank you for that beautifull game”. I got what i paid for, but me and my friends also got a lot of inconveniences because of the lack of expirience from IMC side and their partners.

I want you to try to understand feelings of big part of customers, even if they don’t have legal reasons, I feel it like that:

In fact IMC sold their product to us, coz u can’t start to play now not paying for that. For example you buy some device/soft, and if it works 50% of time you want to use it, you will go to the store and return it, or get another one, that works 100% time you need it. Now ToS is like device/soft that works 50% time and with 50% of functionality we paid.
More then 50K players already paid for that game and 80% of them can’t use it normally or at time they need it, if IMC can’t make normal service now (2 week of preparations was not enough as we see), lets give them time for another try, coz now they have money to make it properly.
Now we just waste our time, nervs and loyality, better admit it today (then stop to play in a week and let the game die for most of community), and announce it like a 3rd iCBT for short term, give rates on exp and 1 more week for tests. After that repair issues, prepare servers and start it once more, normally (95% of content works properly, 95% of time servers should work they work, for at least 95% of users).

Total shortly:
-Make a poll, and if most of users will vote for restart then:
-Announce this week and next one as iCBT 3
-Fix most important things while iCBT 3 goes
-End icbt3, wipe progress
-Fix other issues, apply feedbacks, prepare local servers
-Start Founders access
-Almost everyone Happy

P.S. Even people who used vacations specially for ToS start (as me) mostly would be happy if they have a chance to start again, in same conditions with others to PLAY the game, not to:

  • register at server for NA while it would be EU server for you
  • lag->freeze->die->loose gems->do again
  • wait in 1000+ queue
  • stuck on the map for next ?? hours
  • miss 6/9 dungeons for 3 days
  • try to get to dungeon 10 times longer, then walk throu it
  • get compensation that dissappeared in a day even if you was offline
  • stuck on quest that doesn’t work
  • etc.

…clearly you didn’t read anything about what you were buying before you bought it.

you bought a DLC bundle for a free game.
this bundle included a 1 month headstart on non-pay players.
(translation: non-paying players have 1 month of delayed access… but it’s more PR friendly to say it the other way.)

you’re the one that fanatically just HAD to play the game NOWNOWNOWOMGGIMME … i mean seriously dude, booking vacation to play a videogame ?

but since you’re on vacation, take some of that time, and clean up your computer so it runs better.

I know what i bought, and my PC is clean and i didn’t have such problems with other games with higher requirments. And yes, I was hyped about the game and it’s not that problem for me to take a few days of vacation for something i like (would it be favourite game, some event/fest or travel). And yes, the most i like in online games is start, then you compete with other players in luck, speed, knowledge about the game, flawlessness of your game plan ect. But i don’t see in your reply anything that can justify such start of the game, or such attitude to community from IMC. I discuss about readyness to release final product, not my hypes and computor clearness. If we have so much troubles today, more and more every day, what do we have in a week? May be exploit still work, or other cheats/bots and we need fix. Just watch Steam feedback, there are a lot of new negative comments, that fears new people. Loyality discreases because most people interpret their payment as purchasing a game, nowhere is a big warning - ATTENTION YOU CAN ONLY TRY TO PLAY NOT TO PLAY. They(we) fill scam, waste of money, disapointment, it’s psyhology.

You don’t have troubles with game? What server do you play?

1; this is pretty much standard for most of the popular mmo’s. the first bit is rocky as the sudden influx of players reveals problems the dev’s didn’t anticipate, and then it smooths out again. (something to look forward to: this is all going to happen all over again in 4 weeks when public access starts.)

2; you clearly don’t know what you bought. you paid for a DLC pack. the game itself is free. you’re getting your money’s worth on the game, since you didn’t pay anything for that. and you’re getting your money’s worth on the items, unless they failed to deliver them.

service companies learned a long time ago not to promise that their service will work, they only promise that they will do their best to make it work as much as possible.

i play on Orsha, evenings and nights.

You clearly didn’t see what you “bought”.

You paid for the items within the pack, and 1 month of extra obt time. not the game itself.

This is just a open beta without wipe; the game isn’t officially “launched” yet

I don’t think they should have an early access. This one month early access was better used fixing their game so when it does become available for everyone we do not have to QQ over a semi-broken game.

This is stupid.

No MMORPG launch goes smoothly. Even WoW is full of bugs and issues every new expansion. Stop crying.

I clearly know what i bought in fact, it’s just pack of “sweets” for game. And i see your and @tzxazrael position - “Shut up, suffer and wait” if we get a poll, you’ll have opprtunity to vote for that option. I talk not about money, but about future of a game, most of users, who wanted to play it, already started, and such stage of readyness of game make them dissapointed. And i offer make it oficially iCBT3 to save loyality, to make people not filling scummed, dissapointed, angry, saving all their packs untouched. And give them chance to start playing not waiting of opportunity to try to play.

@driumyrvak i did not played in games with such pack of troubles, 1-2 troubles, i could play/wait 80/20 in worst case. Now it’s worse then was on iCBT1 and iCBT2 for me.

I understand both sides of the story.
But honestly this game just feels like ICBT2 with tokens added into it lol.

Wow doesn’t have 30k people trying to play it. Make it hundreds thousands of people. So yeah, technical wise, servers may die.

IMC is just a pure example of amateurishness.

Pretty sure alot of users would be angry knowing that clearly stated game won’t be wiped turns into wiped and another cbt.

In fact I wouldn’t be coming back if such a thing happened in any game.

Bad comparison is bad,it’s more like you invested on a startup and wait for the final product which will come when it goes open.

You didn’t buy the final product,the final product is free.

The only reason there is an early access is cuz we didn’t want to wait any longer and IMC heard us,which was probably not the best idea.

Should we blame IMC?Sure but only for listening to us. :slight_smile:

Pretty sure that if all packs will be saved, the only people that will be upset for sure are silver buyers, and may be other 5% by another reasons. After just a week it would be better than in a month, then economics become broken because of some bug/bot users, abusers or other stuff like in many (not all) other games. I want ToS to be better then others.

you expected a polished game but the announcement said beta. which means bugs. hell the forums where riddled with all the issues that the game had. why are you surprised?

If they decided on wipe, I would certainly quit this game and apply to my bank for a chargeback.

I saw a lot of trash talk here and don’t realizing the point that the guy said is totally FAIR.

There were players thad had advantages upon anothers, like they don’t had DC everytime, or they don’t get bugs, lags, because it was for most people but not for all of them.

This was not a FAIR START or FAIR EARLY ACCESS even for a beta. If there would be no wipe (i know there will not but i wanted it too because i feel myself damaged) they would had so much better preparation, we bought it BEFORE they open and so they opened with all of it.

I played CBTs too, this version was just worse than iCBT2 (ROFL) quests and things that wasn’t even bugged there are bugged now.

O defend the point of “Who isn’t mad or angry it’s JUST BECAUSE it’s are doing fine with game or at least are doing so many better then the others (majority)”.

You can rush wherever you want, but don’t blame the ones that want to PLAY enjoying the game because it’s not giving what we paid for even close of 50%. And stop trash talking and respect others opinions, you guys are the ones that make the world fail.

How many players underaged we have? I’m sure that we’re all mature and all with our point of view. Respect that. You can say yours or disagree but don’t trash talk. I wished a restart since the beggining with IMC late anouncings and fixing things. They’re working, let they work, but it’s damaing myself :slight_smile:

I’m 24, work and have my last year of University this far so the free time i have i can’t play, i can’t have fun, i can’t joy the game because it’s all bugged and there all people that just ignore that and trash talk others.

All the bugs and stuff aside, the thing that bugged me most was the lack of servers outside of US-East. Even now all of the servers are US-East.
For an ‘international’ release, IMC sure were ignorant to the fact that US-East is horrible for most foreigners to connect to. US-West wouldn’t have been anywhere near this bad.

@TilliOD yap, not best comparison, but i’m about feelings, not about the facts. Yours is closer to facts, thx. I agree that our hypes helped IMC to make it earlier then it become playable, but what they was thinking about?

@Skogarna I don’t understand why, 6 days were hardly playable, did you waste all your love to game and powers to grind?

We can also try another option: Make new server for players who want to restart, and start it a week or two before release, when most troubles will gone, critical issues fixed, hardware tuned, personal needed hired. And give an option to start on that server with all you bought, from the beginning (Accounts on other servers will be delated)
