Fletcher c3 vs Musk c1 vs Cannoner c1

Hey guys, i am currently a ranger 3, fletcher 2 and proceeding to rank 7. Still cant decide on which class I should take.

I want to address that all rank 7 classes ( Musk and Cannooner) skills has somewhat scaling of damage. For example, Musketeer snipe ( Physical Atk 400% + 5k ++ ) which makes them superior over fletcher 3 ? The only skill of fletcher 3 that has damage scaling is divine machine arrow which i heard, the explosion of it cant crit ? Can someone clarify this for me ?

But overall i still cant decide on which to go and hope u guys can give some sort of advice/ suggestions. If u personally are a musketeer/cannoner/fletch3 pls do share ur experience.

Magic arrow 10 is too good to pass up when you’re that far invested in.

Also musketeer and cannoneer benefit vastly more from other circles like falconer and A2 crit buff.

so are u saying fletcher 3 would be the better choice ?’
while if i had an archer 2/ falcon then musk/ canon would be better ?

Magic Arrow 10 is pretty insane.

The damage difference between Magic Arrow 5 and Magic 10 is about equal to the damage Snipe does, and Magic Arrow is on a 5s cd.

That assumes all the Magic Arrow ticks hit. Some bosses constantly do attacks that move them all over the place, others will sit in the same spot forever.

Fletcher 3 wins out by miles if they stay still though.

I would go Musketeer over Cannoneer with Fletcher, if not going Fletcher 3. Musketeer’s single target burst is much better. Either way you will need a Linker for dungeons since you don’t have Falconer for Circling, and Cannoneer AoE ratio isn’t enough for the massive packs you can pull in Dungeons.

Edit: In the case that a World Boss is heavily contested, and is going to get burst down very quickly, Musketeer + Chronomancer for Pass to reset cds will beat Fletcher 3. There wouldn’t be enough time for Magic Arrow to tick, and the burst from Musketeer skills will win a box over Fletcher 3.

Fletcher 3 has probably the best single target damage in the entire archer tree. Bleeding from Broadhead arrow, ticks from Magic Arrow, I don’t think anything in the archer line can really compete when it comes to sustained DPS on a single target.

A2/3->anything for ranks 3/4/5 -> Falconeer -> Cannoneer/Musketeer provides you really strong AoE potential for content like Earth Tower though.

Trying to mix these together will just make you mediocre at both but superior in none.

with magic arrow 10 even when the boss moves… magic arrow is only on a 5 cd window and i might as well cast it again ?

going fletch 2 musk, leaving magic arrow at 5 isit sufficient ?
also does anyone has experience with covering fire? is the aoe good ?

Like… Magic Arrow 5 gives you about 15 x 684 = 10260 base skill damage.

Magic Arrow 10 gives you 25 x 1139 = 28475 base skill damage.

So unless there’s something in the musket line that can you provide you over 18000 damage every 5 seconds, it’s not even remotely comparable. There’s no synergy at all between musketeer and fletcher. The skills don’t synergize well since you’re going to be spamming crossfire for AoE, the cooldowns are long, and the playstyle doesn’t fit.

I came over a fletch 2 musk today and he said he would not miss the 3 skills from musk tree for an extra skill and 5 points in magic arrow in fletch 3…

Well the numbers are clear… So far i think with the increase points in the 0 cd skills ( cf and ba) and also the op magic arrow actually increases alot more dps since their cds are so low… Bt theoratically if u went musk u would use ur high dmg skills and after that when those are on cd… U would spam ur fletch skills to fill up the gap… What do u think?

I think musketeer just has bigger burst, while FL3 will have more DPS? I’m still FL1 though, so I’m not 100% sure.
