Fletcher Build Help

Hey all, I never have played any CBT’s so i’m quite new to the game, other than knowing about it for a long time. In attempting to see what I’d make as a first build I came across liking Archer classes, and Fletcher. I’ve seen they can deal a good amount of AOE damage. I also found that Cannoneer does the same, although in different ways, and it seems they are “better” in that regard.

Would it be overkill to combine the two? In a build similar to this one?

Basically would the Fletcher abilities negate the need to go Cannoneer or vice versa?

Would one be better off going C3 Fletcher instead?

Would Musketeer be better at R7 for a build such as this?

I was wanting to make a character who is good with PVE but could hold their own a bit in PVP.

Thanks

Fletcher’s skills consumes certain arrows as ammunition for one shot. Skills in general have zero cool downs but cost SP per shot in addition to consuming arrows. Depending on your stat spread for SPR, Fletcher class can be expensive sometimes for SP potions and arrows (If you go and buy materials needed.)

Well if you want overkill AoE I see no bad reason to have more additional skills in your hotbar from combining skills from other classes.

Edit: Better to go Cannon Shot 4 and Shootdown 1. Instead of Cannon Shot 3 and Shootdown 2.

Would it be better to increase SPR a lot for this class then? How about DEX:STR? I think I read DEX 3:1 or something along those lines.

Ah that makes sense, you don’t really need to put many points into Shootdown huh.

You could go have DEX be triple the amount of STR and SPR be half of STR.

So if you had 210 DEX you would have 70 STR and 35 SPR.

This is mainly so that you would have a bit more SPR to get a few more zero cool down skills in a fight if you’re spamming those instead of your basic attacks. But won’t have too much SPR to take too much space to not have good DEX/STR for actual damage.

Something along the lines of that. Still would need money for SP pots or buying materials in large bulk for having multiple Fletcher arrows at ready.

Money won’t be a problem if you find out a good money making method.

That looks like a pretty good distribution actually, considering the logic. Obviously I’d just have to test it out, but I like the reasoning.

Is it hard making money? My understanding it can be fairly easy if you know what your doing. I’m assuming grinding a lot helps.
