I’ve read lots of discussions about the two classes already but I’m still having a hard time deciding. I’m currently A2 > R2 > F2 and I have a few questions:
-
For F3, would the following be problematic: SP regen, SP pots CD (might need to chug another right away but there is still a CD), and SP pots expense? In this regard would Cannoneer be more advantageous since CDs allow for less SP spent, more time for SP to regen, and hence less pots expense?
-
For Cannoneer, is the 5-second CD of Cannon Shot and Shootdown materially felt? Does that slight CD drastically decrease overall DPS such that spamming LV 10 Crossfires while waiting for CDs would only tickle mobs?
-
For both, rank 7-level classes require more silver to upgrade attributes right? Should I take the expense from this into consideration?
-
For both, I know that theoretically speaking, sustained DPS is higher for F3 (largely from skill spamming + Magic Arrow). In reality though, would you really just be standing still spamming his F3 skills? Wouldn’t you be mixing some kiting into that, recasting Broadhead to applying bleeding, Barrage, and recasting your buffs such that Cannoneers’ CDs wouldn’t be that much felt? I want to know if the sustained DPS advantage of F3 is something overrated or not.
Misc 1: I’m thinking of switching LV 10 High Anchoring for LV 10 Critical Shot for those plated-mobs that can’t be done in that fast by Barbed Arrow. High Anchoring has also been a dead skill to me for a while now. Would spamming Critical Shot be better than spamming Bodkin Arrow as well?
Misc 2: I’m also considering not taking Crossfire at all if I go Cannoneer because I might end up casting Multishot/Barrage/etc. during the 5-second CDs istead of Crossfire. What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance for any insights.
