Every time I fight the Chapel Dungeon boss, he does his shockwave attack that is only avoidable by jumping, and about 70% of the time, I jump but still get hit. The hitbox and timings for not only this, but all boss attacks needs to make more sense!!

You need to jump way sooner than the shockwave indicates.It took me a while to understand that.

If you play with 200ms ping you should anticipate that shockwave and jump a little bit sooner as was said in the post above. Good thing is that charging animation is obvious and long enough.
