First EXP Barrier grind to 86! Wondering about next one

I have done all the quest main (Gold) and side quest (Blue). And got to 80 and seemed to be stuck on my quest line as a Barbarian. After getting to 86 at Royal Mausoleum, the EXP requirements dropped like crazy and i got from 86-90 within 20 minutes or so.

Can anyone confirm at what level will be the next EXP barrier? 130? 160?

Seems like a interesting system. leveling from 1-80 ish from questing and at the final stretch you have to grind a bit, and then the game gets way more rewarding again once your 86.

I know some people claim there is no grinding needed but i’m pretty sure i got all the quest or at least the majority and most people will say they grinded at one point or another. wether it be early on or close to 86.

FYI i don’t mind grinding, But no comparison in regards to exp/hour doing quest compared to Killing monsters.

Its basically correlated with the exp chart, which in turn is correlated with the last Class levels. Look at the exp chart and you’ll see.

EDIT: Also, related to Item level requierement tiers.

For those who are to lazy, Barriers are at 86 -136-186 for base level!

Technicaly the barrier is around 6 levels before the bracket reset. So 80, 130 and 180, or even earlier if you are not using cards.

Im not sure im following you.
chart says for example.

86 474,895 EXP needed
87 20,757 EXP needed

Or am i reading it wrong? from 86-87 you only need 20k EXP

Sub-question: The exp range to get full exp from mobs are 5 or 10 lvs?

From what i have read the last few days there is no penalty for killing mobs higher then you.

You only get penalized for killing mobs 5 levels or below.

But to be honest its not always worth fighting monsters way higher, since they take a lot longer to kill depending on the monster. usually monsters within 10 levels above you is a good mob to level on.

There’s no exp penalty on fighting higher mobs, but there’s a damage penalty because the damage formula sucks. So if you’re not a DPS class, stay away from higher level content for now.

once you hit 86 it gets super easy again for about 20 leaves or so haha

I plan on grinding 10-15 levels and start the story line again and try to avoid being stuck again after done with quest. xD

130 isnt a barrier cause you get a new instance at 130 and that can shoot you to 136 in 2 days tops

Thats a huge drop off. lol

Do you know the name of the instance? So i can know for when i get to that level range

level 86… flame ground with tonnes of angry mobs…
dance around the flame ground for ritual…

level 90…
well…that escalated quickly…

Erm, have you tried going to gytis settlement and tenants farm? Just north of Klaipeda. I have made the same mistake. I grind till 86 at Royal mausoleum and did not get the side quests from those maps. After i got there, i earned exp cards and did not grind till today.

I farmed in all of those before i grinding to 86. managed to get to level 100 before logging off.
in 5 hours after work i got a total of 10 levels and have 39 level 5 cards and 13 level 6 cards.
As soon as i need them ill be more then glad to burn them. hehe

i honestly dont know what you guys are talking about.

i breezed right through the 80’s and i never had no quests to do. there was a point that i needed to find a new zone to pick up quests. but N key does wonders. I never came to a point so far 1-160 that i didnt have any quests and I needed to grind lvls… I believe you guys are missing stuff.
