This is the build I’m planning to go.
Is it worth it?
Or should I just cheese and go A1->R3->A2->F1->C1?
Is archer2 even worth it? Do you even kneel-shot or autoattack to make swift step viable?
Is falconeer needed to utilize cannoneer well? Or is it more for party buffs?
I don’t plan on doing PvP, mostly pve grinds/dungeons.
I’d really appreciate answers from people who played KToS, and have general clue about how the game ACTUALLY works, not theorycrafting.
decent builds for pve grinding are
archer ranger3 scout3
archer1 ranger3 fletcher3
everything else is sub par to these
the 1st is good at grinding silver the second does the most damage to bosses
Why does everyone state that “new” C7 are superior to previous ones damage output wise?
What about archer1->ranger3->fletcher2->cannoneer?
Are you able to use fletcher skills with crossbow?
Your Wugu-Cannon build can be used. Nearly all builds are viable. If you’re aiming for PvE, the more AoE the better because you can farm easily in crowded areas and with grinding groups.
Archer 2 is worth if you’re going for crits - swift steps help you crit.
Kneel shot is used if you want to camp farm a crowded area. You might want it, you might not. It highly depends on your playstyle and pacing.
Other skills in build - Are you going SPR route? Unless you’re willing to spend lots of money to upgrade Oblique’s attributes, put only 1 into Oblique and the rest into Full Draw.
The decent builds mentioned are the typical and generally more efficient builds. If you want to be creative, go ahead. Not that large of a difference in the end.
“New” C7 skills are considered superior because the flat damage is higher and they scale, in %, off str and such.
After iCBT2, Fletchers can now use any bows.

Another question I have is, how much do the mats for fletcher/wugushi abilities cost?
Because the price for sappers traps is atrocious, atleast in the early game.
Price for all traps are roughly the same. There’s a reason why people say to be an Archer, you need to be rich. (Or something like that) Other than the fact you should enhance your bows to +6 at least and upgrade attributes.
I don’t actually know the price of Fletcher items since I never went. But, you should be using wood which costs around 12-20 each. Drawback is you have to craft the special arrows.
Wugushi - roughly 850 per poison bottle for around 200 or 400 poison pot poison. Use bug mats, much cheaper and easier to obtain. There’s a list somewhere in forums with how much poison pot poison you get per item.
