Feedback on Current situation in Telsiai Server. IMC Senpai!

Its 2.40PM on a Friday (5/6/2016)

Server Status:

PING:

0.06 aka 60 ms was my best ping. The issue here was the constant spiking. Most people in Telsiai is experiencing this. 60 ms will spike to 100 then to 300 then to 500 then down then up then down constantly.

I hope and pray that IMC will spend more of their resources into upgrading the SEA servers. i’m pretty sure SEA region population is very huge and might even be the most populated Region. Im not 100% on this though since i can’t find the data that only IMC has. But recent server issues, lags, CommanderLoadFail, needing to spam into Dungeon even with premade at 2am because all Dungeon Channels are full and other stuff points towards SEA being the most populated Region in iToS.

Edit: 3.42PM The ping spikes now last longer. Here’s another screenshot:

Edit 2: Time is 5.15 PM in Singapore now. Server time 5.15 AM. Dungeons and Missions Reset at 6pm Hence influx of players logging in now. PING show up as follows:

http://puu.sh/oIate/2a0917bab5.jpg

Ping > 100 that occured 2 times is 50 and 60 ms. Ping < 100 that occured 8 times ranges from 118 - 555 ms. NOTE I am on Singtel Fibre and always have 5 ms on most locally hosted games such as Dota2, CSGO, Garena League of Legends.

This has been happen since the Weekly maintenance on 3rd May 2016.
i’ve the same problem and already logged a support ticket.
the game is now going to worse if they still don’t make it as their priority.

The game server capacity / network even the server disk load / CPU Load / Memory load had reach to the peak all the time and causing the issue.

below is my ingame ping result

To be honest, quality of life in Telsiai has been going downhill since the transfer of Klaipeda and Orsha players to Telsiai. Its very clear server cant handle the massive population and has to be upgraded soon… I hope IMC are really ready for F2P launch date on May 10… i predict servers might be crashing on that day…

I for one, agree with the current plight of the server as well.

A slight ping test for me earlier resulted in the following results:

Also, the dungeon instances need to have their limit increased. It takes such a long time of spamming to actually get into an instance now as shown in the following screenshot:

IMC has been fast and responsive but I feel like they are ignoring these obvious and basic issues that have to be fixed to enable us players to play the game optimally.

At least it won’t for Telsiai because there’s literally no new player ;_;

I hope they are not ignoring but are actually in the midst of fixing it! Would be great if IMC were back to their responsive self and updated us with announcements! Would put my worrying heart at ease. The reason im so concerned is because this is going to be such a great game in the future and i want the best for it.

The game is still literally unplayable right now though, regardless of whether or not new players are coming into the game.

@STAFF_John @STAFF_Shawn @STAFF_Ines @STAFF_Ethan @Staff_Julie: Please help to forward this issue to the developers or those who are in charge of the maintenance of the server. Thanks.

IMC senpai will never reply you!

Nuuuuuu IMC Senpaiiii onegai !

Okay its really unplayable. I’ve logged out already.

the server is heavily overloaded, because some people couldn’t understand what a SEA server was supposed to be. “oh it’s got good ping, i’ll just go there.” and then when it actually physically moved, everyone in the region transferred to it.

i mean what do you expect when you have the most heavily loaded server in the game?

yes, because just throwing hardware at it is the solution. totally.

click here to download more ram.

That’s basically how it works.
Though it’s not downloading but allocating more virtualized memory.

That guy has been replying to every single post regarding the lag.

Also, what do people not understand? That the SEA server was supposed to lag just because more people transferred there, because I think that’s absurd. One would think that when IMC allowed for the transfers, they would have accounted for the increase in population and properly prepped the servers in advance.

And also are you implying that just because the server is the most heavily loaded server in the game that it will most definitely lag?

Food for thought.

that’s not true, i didn’t bother with the first 20-ish newly-made “SEA is lagging” threads i skipped across in the last couple of hours.

but when there’s literally 5-6 threads all titled some variant of “SEA is still lagging pls fix” listed at the bottom of a thread…
well come on people, why are you all starting new threads just to say the same thing over and over?
