Hello Community,
This is my first review in a long time and I did like to share my thoughts on the current CBT.I have played several classes up to 100 and I did like to point out what I have experienced so far. Im sorry for my bad english, im not used to write summarys in english.
Overkillmechanic:
I like the idea behind it but currently its not really well made. Like i said i just played at lvl 100 and im not sure if its going to change after 100+.
There are just some classes/builds who really profit from this mechanic(Highlander/Barb for example). A Wizard cant really use the mechanic till he gets Meteor as an Ele. Never overkilled as a Cleric. Archer can make use out of it for a while.
Missing shared Stash:
In some sort of way I understand that the option is missing. Since it would be unfair, if you just upgrade your gear an insane amount and you could share it without loosing potential between your Chars. But the only way you could share your own gear would be by giving it to a friend and then he would give it back to your alternate char which costs 2 potential. Thats not really how it should be.
Skill DMG formula:
For the time being its working really good for me but I see problems in the future.
Lets take as an example Pyromancer. I maxed fireball to 15 points and got the attribute dmg bonus at 50% aswell. Its really doing his job great but when I have at mind that the lvl cap of monster is going to be(correct me if im wrong) 470+ it could really lack later with power. In my point of view alomst every skill should scale with some kind of stat like Int/Dex/Str to keep the skill usefull for lategame.
Quick sitenote for Pyromancer:
You should have the option if you want that other player/party member are able to interact with your fireball or not. Currently its pretty frusttrating.
Party mechanic:
At the moment it feels you are faster at lvling by going solo. There are some places where you can grind good as a 5 man party and some bosses maybe require you to search for a mate. The point my trying to make is that some builds really lack without having a party. For example Chronomancer and Thaumaturge are really good for party setups but for solo lvling its really annoying. As a “solo class” its always good to have a support at your side but its not necessary. On the other way around a whole support build needs a good dps mate around to lvl effective. Now to consider is that there are big gaps between the lvl of player . So its might happen that you are in a lvl range as support where you cant find someone who is ready to help you out, making support classes not so appealing at all.
Thats it for now.Let me hear your opinion what you are thinking.
Greetings
Neruem
