Falconer's aiming: war of archer's AOE dot

afaik, in archer tree there are only these classes that has such skill:
sapper’s broom trap lv 10
Attack: 545
Trap Duration: 15 seconds
Consumes 3 Ash Wood

scout’s flare shot lv 10
Attack: 458
Duration: 20 seconds

wugushi’s throwing gu pot lv 5
Attack: 781
Duration: 6 seconds
Consumes 23 Poison Pot Poison

which one give best damage if paired with aiming?

You can only get Throw Gu Pot 5 if you want Falconer 3.

Looking at just those 3 skills, Flare Shot would yield the highest damage (40 hits), but has the most limited range.

However, I would not recommend Scout because it is avery limited since it will only bring Flare Shot. Sapper and Wugushi would bring you more skills allowing them to probably outdamage what Scout brings

Are the other Sapper 3 skills bad? Like what if you take Sapper 2 > Scout 1

Then you also get to have Broom Trap (24 hits) and the other random Sapper Skills. You’ll be losing A3 though

They are all true AoEs indeed, you should notice wugushi’s Throw Gu Pot got changed in KToS already so duration for level 5 should now be 9 seconds (we’ll eventually get that patch).

Throw gu Pot lv5 does 18 hits over the 9 seconds duration with 35’ CD. So, considering 2k physical attack, potential DPS would be (18*2781)/35 = 1430.

Broom trap lv5 does around 24 hits over 15 seconds with 40’ CD. Potential DPS would be: (24*2330)/40 = 1398.

Flare Shot lvl 5 does 30 hits over 15 seconds with 41’ CD. Potential DPS would be (30*2088)/41 = 1674. (PS. flare shot has an innate -10% physical attack multiplier).

Wugushi 2 also offers wugong gu lvl 10 for area damage (though not true AoE and, just like trhow gu pot can’t crit or activate circling attribute), for a potential DPS of: (30*3102)/25 = 3722.

At full, crit sapper 2 + scout 1 would be looking forward to something like 4608 DPS in terms of AoE damage, which can trigger Circling’s attribute with quite an easy setup.

An Archer 2 + whatever + wugu 2 would be looking forward to a potential of 5152 DPS from poisons alone, but they can’t activate circling attributes and wugong gu isn’t as easy to spread (mutlishotting original target or having a rank of hunter for coarsing makes it much more feasible).

Broom 10 has a higher damage potential since you can increase it with lethargy from wizard, serpentine, high kick, slithering, headbutt…

Flare shot is missile type (?), has a -10% damage mod iirc… but I don’t know, maybe that necro debuff works with it?

That’s considering party skills. If you’re alone, Flare shot lv 5 + Broom trap lv 5 wins assuming you have enough physical attack to surpass broom trap lv 10 (consider the new attribute for sapper 3, some people says that it doubles only the skill base damage, so not a real 2x final damage multiplier).

Broom + Flare shot are perfect together, same cd / duration, true aoe, billions of multi-hits and can fit falconer c3. both proc Circling: expand.
