Falconer Synergy (Clash of Builds)

Hi guys, I’m going to start a new archer and I could use your help in this matter, I’m currently torn between two builds (PVE ONLY):

  1. Archer/Ranger2/Wugushi2/Falconer/Cannoner (Full STR)

  2. Archer2/QS3/Falconer/Musketeer (STR/DEX Hybrid)

In your opinion which one has the best damage and/or will be more welcomed in groups?

Will falconer be more beneficial for the first one or the second one?

Is one of them more futureproof than the other?

I really don’t know they both seems fun and with decent damage but I never played an archer past rank 3 so I could really appreciate some pros and cons.

I see something close. Archer 3/wugushi2/falconer/cannoner. Dnt knw the atrb. Mb full str.

I think falconer doesn’t support wugushi and QS. I’d prefer go wugushi3 instead of falconer.

Is anyone playing a similar build? I could really use more inputs.

If it is PVE only you should try Sapper, it is really fun and it works great with Falconer and Cannoner.

Yeah, Sapper seems the best for PVE with Falconer. Maybe Archer2 Sapper3 or Archer3 Sapper2.

I was thinking something like Archer2>Sapper3>Falconer>Cannoner.

Anyway between the two which one will provide more damage? I can’t tell.

Ranger2 does nothing for your first build by end game except for allowing stronger initial hits from Wugu and Cannoneer.
I’d go with this build

This lets you go Pure STR for maximum DoT and multi shot/twin arrows effectiveness because of Swift Step’s crit allowing leeway for critting from end game gears.

A variety of constant AoE’s. Circling + Lv15 MultiShot x2, Cannon Shot, Cannon Blast, WugonGu, Throw Gu Pot.

Your single target will stay relevant with DoT stacking and MultiShot/Twin Arrows

So taking Sapper C1 (Archer2/Sapper1/Wugushi2/Falconer/Cannoner) like someone said will be a mistake?

Is it going to be better than my second one for damage and grouping?

Sapper 1 brings nothing to the table. You’d be better taking A3 so you can take all 16 hits from Lv15 multi shot x2 for a strong burst AoE burst with circling.

Compared to the 2nd build, the wugu build has more consistent AoE alternatives for party play. The 2nd build has one AoE burst rotation and that’s just circling + multishot/covering fire. After that you’ll have no AoE for the next 35s or 25s if you include the 10s uptime for circling. Of course there’s always Covering Fire since it’s on a 15s CD but even then it hits 3-4 monsters at most with no AoE attack ratio gears.

Single target wise, QS3 will come on top but Wugu can hold on it’s own too if not too far. Needle Blow + WuGonGu gives you 2 DoT ticking 2hits/s for 15s. Applying it then following up with Twin Arrows 5x overheat 7s CD as well as Lv15 MultiShot x2.

I guess I’ll go with Archer3/Wugushi2/Falconer/Cannoner then even If I have still doubts that dropping Steady Aim will not be a good idea. Is full STR ok for it isn’t?

Full STR will allow your archer and wugu skills to scale better. On the contrary, cannoneer skills won’t scale as well but it doesn’t mean you can get crit from gears to still make your cannoneer skills perform well.
