[Falconer] some skill questions

This class seems to be fairly unpopular since everyone says it sucks compared to the rest of the r6 classes, which must be why I can’t find much info on it.

Anyway, I just turned Falconer and I’m wondering how the class works, exactly. I don’t understand the skills “call” or “roost”, what is the purpose of calling your falcon or letting it sit? Doesn’t always follow you?

Also, aside from Circling, what’s the skill distribution I should get? Anything particularly nice?

Considering Hovering only lasts 13 seconds and the hawk takes like 4 seconds to actually attack a mob this looks like it sucks.

Hanging shot looks like you move faster than your regular movespeed so that seems nice.

Not sure how good Pheasant is.

Any advice?

-each time after you use falconer skill the falcon go away you need
to use call every time after use falcon skill(and if you use the skill
with out falcon you waste the cd&sp) roost make your falcon stay at roost so you can use another skill again instead of use call

-hovering has attribute that +3sec duration each lv and have another attribute that make falcon atk faster, but mostly this skill still use as knockback the dmg isn’t good

-Pheasant is AoE skill that knock all enemies (similar to earthquake, but kick mobs away)
most people usually go call1 roost1 circling5 hovering5 pheasant2 hanging shot, some people leave circling at lv3-4, some pheasant5 instead of hovering, and few hanging shot 5

Thanks a lot for the info mate, guess I’ll make my first point into Call.

Roost is useless imo as you will move to the next screen in matters of second.

1 point in call is mandatory

5 points in Circling -> best skill of Falconer

1 point in Hanging shot for utility, additional points only 1 sec to the duration which is a waste imo

Both Pheasant(AOE dmg) or Hovering(Single target dmg) are just damage fillers which deal average dmg at best. You won’t be using them very often as you will probably be casting skills from other class instead.

As a A2 QS3 Falc1 Canoneer I maxed Hovering as a target and forget dmg skill myself.
