How many skills do you actually use? I’m rearranging my mouse mode layout and I need to clear something I won’t use
Depends. When I do pvp I often use Stone shot and Full draw (I seldom use thiesein PVE). for PVE - Swift step, running shot, multi shot, caltrops, concentrated fire, retreat shot and sometimes kneeling shot
So only 7 skills for PvE. Tks, that rotation looks fine to me, not lacking like my Barb>Doppel
Not sure if mentioned, but oblique shot will allow you to slow walk retreat shot.
The usual combo is Retreat -> Oblique spam -> use caracole half way through to reset position -> >>>
Ranger 3 -> SR2 here.
Normal attacks also make you go slower, but both methods interrump your rs (dont cancel just interrump). Anyway, the new skill in c3 allow you to got slower (-5 mspd) so those thing wont be neccesary.
Could be a good watch for would be Falconer 3.
Basically the Falconer had a previous video where he had both Hovering and Sonic Strike (felt bad for him) so he reset and only had Sonic Strike and the result(s) look promising?!

No, its just the same thing, i have tested myself.
Another thing, does mobs attack dismount you? For example, while doing Retreat Shot, a pesky magic mob attacked and you immediately stopped your skill
Based on the videos, Falconer3 seems meh, but maybe it won’t be the case once it’s implemented.
Safest route is to go SR3, musket2 or cannon2.
No, attacks or being staggered won’t dismount you, but some mobs have some sort of dismount skill. There seems to be not a lot of them, at least at my lv (227), I’ve only encountered one kind so far (it was in Barha forest). There could be more later on.

In old patch, normal attack will cancel retreat shot. Now it doesnt. Can confirm.

I want to like Falconer. I really think its cool but because of the long cooldown of the circling made me choose SR over it. I was hoping Circle 3 will bring light to it but so far the videos I have seen doesn’t impress me. Though to be honest I haven’t seen any SR3 vids aside from the ones released by Nexon.
Lol. I was also wondering why I got dismounted the time I was farming in Barha. I thought it was a bug.

I agree with this. I dont have a problem dismounting and mounting when I do kneeling shot. I like kneeling shot to be honest.

I guess Rokas Leather and 3 pieces of Plate armor?
