saw vids of a 280 A2>Hunter3>Falconer2 on youtube. Falc C2 skills damage doesn’t look good compared to other classes
right now falconer C2 is junk.
Sonic Strike just isn’t good. Once the ktos merge it be better if the changes carry over.
I think it has a slight damage increase. But the biggest difference is that sonic strike blinds the targets it hits. Right now here, its just weak damage.
Most people just take falcon1 for the circling which will significantly increase your party’s aoe skills.
If you want to go C2 now. Your just betting for C3 to have some really really good skills to make up for a lackluster C2
Sonic Strike is junk. Its a 1.5x multiplier single attack which gets divided into 6 different damage numbers and has a low aoe atk ratio. Its also not strike damage. You need some insane ping and to use it from roost in order to kneel before the sonic strike hits.
Hovering 10 is alright I guess. I can have it up while kneeling and autoshotting. Right now its doing about 6k per crit dive and 10k if there is lethargy and like 16k with lethargy + bow.
Circling 10 I havent tested out. If we go by the increase in power of Magic Missile combo from Circling 3->4->5, Im guessing 10 will turn it into an instawipe for giant groups of enemies
Pheasant from Falc 1 is so much better than Sonic Strike because it ignores aoe ratios and just hits everything in its fairly large aoe. It is also strike damage so lethargy + pheasant will hit harder than Sonic Strike. The knockback is annoying though so only use it when you got tree to pullem back. Kneelers can use this and have enough time to kneel before the falcon dives.
Only thing I am attributing is Hovering. All skills are based of your characters damage and the falcon stats currently mean nothing.
i think you only need 3 in circling to reduce mobs aoe defense to 0, i guess you can put 5 just for comfort, but more than that is only for pvp because there’s ways for players in ktos to stack their aoe defense to just absorb it all and have regular aoe atks just hit them alone instead of others around them
Magic missiles doesnt bug out at 0 aoe defense. You need it negative to bug it out and turn it to magic mega nuke. There is very noticeable difference when going from lvl 3 to 4 to 5 when using it to clear out enemies. If you test out level 3 circling with magic missiles on large enemies, you will see that it doesnt bug out and machine gun enemies. Level 4 and 5 is where you start being able to clear entire dugeon rooms with magic missiles.
Edit: when i tested this at falc 1, i was using lvl 2-5 circling while a weaponless thaum who transposed to full con shot magic missiles in demon prison district 2.
lets wait for the rank 8 info on archers… lets cross fingers for a great Falconer C3, i won’t be getting my rank 7 on my A2>Hunter2>Ranger>Falconer for now
I’m still waiting for anyone who will create 2 Char with Falconner and try bringing 2 falcons (since you can bring 2 companion they say).
why need 2 char falconer, why not try buying anotehr falcon with straight up silver
