EZ mode solo C3 Archer full SPR

That’s exactly what I meant.

Hey man, sorry for missing you.

I can’t really comment on the pet classes because I don’t have any experience playing them. I will however offer this advice, lvling gets really slow around 160. You’ll find yourself out of quests and too low lvl to start the next zones. The only solution is to grind. I feel wugushi (and hunter) to be quite inefficient for grinding since they lack aoe spamming abilities. I don’t know how good dog rush is aoe but someone mentioned it has a pretty small radius. I do know that wugushi aoe does a lot damage, but has a really long CD.

I think because you are lvl 82 already that you’re kind of locked into your class decision and should carry out with your plan. It is a test afterwards and at the very least you can learn from your experience. Of course if it ends up working out that’s great and you should share your experience with the rest of us.

You should try to respec SPR and try out spamming your abilities if you’re having issues with SP since you can always change back. For magic mobs, unless you are killing them for a specific reason (quest or item drop) I would choose to grind on non-ranged mobs.

Cheers m8

@imaginaryfoe hey bro. may i know which ghost are you referring on Mausoleum Chapel? Issit Vesper and Tombsinker? or Madakia? any special spot to farm those? cuz i find it low spawn from the map f2

Edit: sorry. wrong map. LOL. no wonder my grinding are so slow.

Thanks for this thread, OP. I finally have found my class, currently going from archer -> ranger, and im already in love with barrage! It feels so right and so wrong to delete entire group of enemies instantly!

Hey, thanks for the taking to time to reply. Aiight, I can’t really share anything right now because the pet’s AI pathing / attacking system is seriously messed up. It doesn’t even listen or react to you sometimes. Like “cast rush dog” here! It goes all the way to somewhere else and does it there; or when you’re moving right on the map, it goes left and does something else. Or when you’re having a hard time with the boss, the pet LITERALLY sits there and does f**k all.

Thanks again!

just love that hp/sp regen trick
and gonna start putting attributes to Obliques
not sure yet if should get plate also since im using leather 40
will try to get plate when I get enough silvers for those

thanks for the guide ヽ( ゚ヮ゚)ノ .・゚。・+☆*

nice man, i’m very exciting about this build too, now im archer c3 lv 75 and i don’t have anything problem in solo monsters.

Thanks for sharing this man!

tosbase lists SR skills as “Missile” so they should work with steady aim

I checked earlier and just now and it says “strike” on ToS base. Strike is the damage type of maces and skills like stone shot.

I mean, it could be wrong, but we don’t know until someone gets there. It still gives me impression that the nerf will affect them until proven otherwise, since the info says strike and not missile.

C2 Hunter here. Almost none of your skills will work on a boss. Rush Dog is very strong, can stun with attribute, and very useful for breaking things.

still says missile

it wouldn’t make any sense for them to be strike based either, they are projectiles and don’t benefit from the strike bonus

That must have been a recent change. I checked 2 times earlier today and yesterday and it said [physical] [strike] for all of them, even after you had posted when i went back to check.

It didn’t-not make sense either. Stone shot is a strike skill and is a projectile, so it wasn’t unfounded that SR skills could be strike, as it said before.

Oh well, site is updated now. Lucky for them.

@ imaginaryfoe

did u realase u can do the same with spam blue potion and better dmg with str ?

can u explain the trick regen sp ?

After lvling to 40 with both archer>archer and archer>ranger both full SPR, its overwhelmingly obvious that ranger is vastly superior.

However I am wondering if its worth going to ranger3 before fletcher or if maybe going sapper2 might be better. I feel that the damage from barrage is already good enough, its only limitation is its long coolddown. So i’m interested if anyone here has got to ranger3 and has tested just how good bounce shot and spiral arrow are and if theyre worth going all the way to ranger 3 for instead of getting some fun sapper skills.

I’ve addressed the issue with ranger being stronger in the thread. I went C3 archer without knowing anything about the game, just play-testing. C1 archer C3 ranger C2 fletcher and C2 archer C3 ranger(or C1 ranger C2 sapper) C1 schwarzer reiter seem to be the most optimal builds.

I personally like C3 ranger skills over C2 sapper skills. The high cooldowns make soloing inefficient, whereas bounce shot has a low cooldown + charges.

For the SP trick. I haven’t done any proper testing on it’s mechanics so I may explain it wrong. Someone can correct me. The gist is that when you are standing up you get a tick of SP/HP every 20 seconds, while if you are sitting down you get a tick every 10 seconds. But you don’t have to be sitting the entire time to lower the tick time. So, every ~10 seconds you sit down momentarily to coincide with the tick time.

I hope that makes sense.

I coincidentally discovered the SP trick independently of this post having been starved for HP during boss fights and discovering it’s a good way to recover SP when low. I think the actual time, at least for me, is about 10-12 seconds or so…but I mean I’m not using a stop watch or anything. You can also just spam it if you count too quickly and are off on your count.

Sapper has a high cool down (I have a level 80 one), but with Stake Stockades, they last pretty long and you can kite back and forth between them and get a lot of value out of their uptime. Broom trap has a pretty long CD too, but it lasts for like 15 seconds or something like that with a massive, massive, high damaging AoE. You can also afford to build STR on Sappers because you aren’t really spamming oblique shot as often…at least I wasn’t when I played mine.

TY imaginaryfoe ^^ but u dont answer to my first question

u can do the same with str and flood mana pot

so this build is just economy and make you rich ? XD

Well, it helps to not have to buy SP pots because they are quite expensive and gold income typically is pretty low on top of SP pots having a 30 second cooldown and SP usage typically exceeds SP pot recovery.

On top of that it allows you to use Oblique shot as a normal attack, which you simply cannot do if you level it past 1 without a SPR build. STR is fine for builds that require single, hard hitting burst attacks, but otherwise SPR seems to be the way to go.

Both Needle Blow and Wugong Gu are still classified as Missile for Wugushi, so steady aim should still work on these skills.
Not sure if it only applies to the initial hit or the poison dot as well.
