Extra hits don't benefit skills (Cafrisun/Sacrament/Enchant Fire/Last Rites)

I haven’t read your wall of text, but I’ll say this just in case you’re confusing the two. Extra elemental attack is different than extra elemental damage.

Extra elemental damage adds 1 more tick to your autos (i.e. cafrisun set).

Extra elemental attack adds that elemental attack to each of your hit/ticks (i.e arde dagger).

I just want to say that if the extra hits affected skills, wouldnt it affect wizard multihit skills too? so each tick would do another tick… so you would get stronger, but they would get much more stronger. Then they would need to rebalance the whole game.

I wouldn’t mind that. A few more things to scale damage in this game would be nice. Others getting more damage helps everyone clear faster.

As long as there is still room in the party for other classes.

I had played Archer C3 -> Wugushi C2 in iCBT2.

Like he said

the Arde dagger or any other sub-weapon with element attack will add additional damage to your skill and AA.
Therefore, the skill with multi-hit will benefit from it. It always works like this since CBT.

For Cafrisun set, It is the only item set that make you additional hit. Therefore, Arde dagger affects it.
Also, the set didn’t give you another hit to your skill. This is also the same for Cleric’s class skill like Sacrament, Blessing or Wizard’s Enchant fire.
Those skills will add additional hit to your AA only. However, when using skills, the damage from buff that said Element Property attack will add to your Skill instead of making additional hit.

For example, Sacrament give you

Holy Property Attack +40
Additional Damage +40

The Holy Property will add to your skill damage (+40).
Additional Damage will only add another hit to your AA, which mean 40+40 = 80 damage (and another 40 damage to your normal hit if I remembered correctly).

I believe those buffs can also stack to each others.
For example,
Additional hit from Sacrament to enemy that is neutral to element will equal to

80 (Sacrament) + 100 (Blessing) + 34 (Enchant Fire) + 154 (Arde Dagger) = 368

Additional hit from Blessing

170 (Blessing) + 40 (Sacrament) + 34 (Enchant Fire) + 154 (Arde Dagger) = 398

Additional hit from Enchant Fire

68 (Enchant Fire) + 40 (Sacrament) + 100 (Blessing) + 154 (Arde Dagger) = 362

If you have Cafrisun set then it will add another hit.

I said x4 counting the original 16 hits, as they also get the bonus elemental damage/blessing/etc.

And attribute does give a flat damage bonus. 2 damage each attribute lvl.

And archer 3 would be worth it, IF multishot did get all additional hits from buffs/gears.

Ya, considering dropping A3 and going Falconeer. I would really like to see level 10 Kneeling Shot + Running Shot, but A3 is making me sad.

Does viper work like arde dagger ?

And if so does it still work for fletchers?? This is all so confusing but enlightening

And also what about virtov leather set? Is that just essentially a stronger carfisun so it won’t work?

Yes, viper works like arde dagger, as its bonus elemental damage.
