Expired Compensation. Misread date format year/month/day

I know this is my fault but I misread the date from the message box and didn’t realise they wrote the date in the format of year/month/day. I thought it was the usual day/month/year, so I thought ‘16th April’ is the last day to claim them. I was wondering whether there was any way of getting them back?

So you thought the date was the 16th of April 2004 ? And no there is not a way of getting them back i doubt the staff will give more because people decided not to read or to think about what they were reading.

Yeah I figured that was the case. And no i didn’t read it as 16th April 2004. I just negligently ignored the last bit as I generally read it as day/month/year, so when I read 16/04, I assumed it would be 16th April 2016. I was too excited to play the game to fully read the date or to even think about it. My thoughts were to play the game and only grab the exp tomes as I needed them.

Also what is the reasoning behind putting an expiry on the compensation?

The way we are receiving them is through a system that was made / used to distribute event rewards and the like on the korean server. So i would assume its just so people learn by losing xp tomes rather then 1 time event items in future maybe?

Just spit balling, i can’t read IMCs mind.
