Yeah, something like that. Tells you the exact numbers of experience you are getting.
Thanks, i googled it and fount it pretty easily. Gonna try it out now.
Aww, well thanks for the answer.

Double check this. I levelled with my friend at stumpy trees, they are lvl 98 ( I was 20 lvls above him exactly - he was 83, I was 103 ) and grinded with him to help get him to 86. I donât believe that there is a lvl cap on the difference between players on exp gain, I think itâs relative to the monsterâs level. If I kill a mob that is 20 lvls below me, I will get no exp, and the party will get no exp even if they kill it and are the appropriate level ( with share on ).
Also there may be some other factors at play - when we lvlâd in the 90 dungeon together ( by that time I was higher lvl, somewhere around 110 ) he didnât get very much exp from the monsters. The party was just the two of us. Then I invited some other lvl 9x people, and he reported that he was gaining exp much faster ( and he did certainly start to lvl up on subsequent runs, whereas before he didnât even go from 90->91 in a run ).
I did check it though, I invited a lv 120 to our party ( we were lv 100). After he got in the party , every mob was giving us 1 xp. That was the lv 90 dungeon though. I will do some testing later though, I didnt consider the fact that his level was ahead of the dungeon.
So you had someone in your party that was 20+ levels over the mobs that you were killing. That means the exp you gained was likely relative to the mob, not him. He was killing something ~30 levels under him, so it wouldnât give any exp.
Thanks for the feedback, guys!
Ok, so far Iâm testing this with a lower level friend to try and find out whatâs going on.
They are lvl 127, I am 151. We partied together in different areas and gained different exp. Over time, we recorded the exp gain while in a party on equal share.
lvl 130 mob
151 ( -21 lvl ) - 0 exp ( 0% )
127 ( +3 lvl ) - 10000 exp ( 100% )
lvl 133 mob
151 ( -18 lvl ) - 6400 ( 64% )
127 ( +6 lvl ) - 10000 ( 100% )
lvl 134 mob
151 ( -17 lvl ) - 9200 ( 92% )
127 ( +7 lvl ) - 10000 ( 100% )
lvl 138 mob
151 ( -13 lvl ) - 11000 ( 100% )
127 ( +11 lvl ) - 11000 ( 100% )
lvl 142 mob
151 ( -10 lvl ) - 16000 ( 100% )
127 ( +15 lvl ) - 11000 ( 69% )
lvl 146 mob
151 ( -5 lvl ) - 22400 ( 100% )
127 ( +19 lvl ) - 13000 ( 58% )
lvl 155 mob
151 ( +4 lvl ) - 68800 ( 100% )
127 ( +28 lvl ) - 5000 ( 7% )
so basically when the mob average level is equal to your averages, you guys got each full xp, but once you guys went above or higher you started getting xp penalties? thats some interesting finds. Did you use xp viewer to check the individual mob xp?
Still, no comments about this part of the thread. Iâm also curious to have more precise info on those other sharing methods.
Yeah, I havenât touched it too much. Itâs pretty unanimous between my party members that when we turn it on we all seem to get less exp. I donât get it.
