what will the exp rates be in iCBT 2 … Because if its the same as iCBT 1 then we won’t be able to reach that far in terms of ranks … Even if its one month … Bear in mind guys i only ask for a high exp rate in the beta, but not the actual game … Cuz its kinda rough going through these hard exp rates knowing your progress will be wiped.
We won’t know until they tell us. It’s unlikely that the rates will be the same as before for the entire Beta duration though.
And, believe it or not, 1 month is enough time for quite a few people to hit Rank 7.
I believe we will have higher exp rate, since this CBT will forcus on content (i think so).
But yeah, lets wait for IMC anouncement
Same as Sixaxis said, the rates we got were enough for me to almost get to rank 4, and I didn’t rush like a mad man 24/7, I didn’t know anything about the game and Bokor is hella buggy.
I don’t mind keeping the same rate, because in one month we’ll pretty much all be quite high imo.
But if they want us to test high end content, or english text, we might need to speed it up yeah …
hm i think they will boost exp rate this time because there are lots of things change to test
was playing casually in cbt 1 and made to rank 4 no time~ so even with same rates, 1month should be enough for as they said, rank 6 or 7 and for hard core gamers, till end of the current available contents we are given
We’re here to test the game.
Save the complaints for the release.
You volunteered for this torment, it being rough is very much your problem and not theirs.
Enjoy.
I have to agree with @ace_death initial notion because of one point: last iCBT it was to test international server and Steam calibration. What purpose is this iCBT 2 for then? It would be best if it is indeed to test the whole game content (for 1 month long). Higher EXP rate = more contents, flaws, and ideas for improvements are exposed. We have our “rights”, too, don’t we? Koreans had their chance already; this game is going to be released world wide; and international players also comprise players from countries which have local providers.
We can have another CBT or the OBT to test the final EXP adjustment.
But, yes, please disregard the fact that our progress will be wiped. It’s not about that. We are to test the game and, hopefully, this time is to test its full content.
Rights to test the game?
We have permission, mate. There’s a clear difference.
IMC will decide what they think we should test, that’s that.
Chill, mate, that is why I put the rights between " ". I have understood from the first place that IMC is the one to decide everything.
Please re-read my post and try to re-understand its true meaning.
Koreans had their chance already; this game is going to be released
world wide; and international players also comprise players from
countries which have local providers.
This will only benefit IMC for having content suggestion international-wise, from the future NA players and the future local providers’ playerbase. And please treat this as a suggestion. It’s not at all a complain or a demand.
“Rights” = in the end we are going to play the game, too. Feedback from this side of playerbase shall be regarded as worthy.
Once again…it is just…a…suggestion. If IMC only wants to test how we communicate in-game with each other in English, be my guess, I’ll still be enjoying the CBT.
Let me look into my crystal ball and get back to you.
@jochris
I did not treat it as either complaint or suggestion.
Simply your opinion.
I disagree with this entirely.
Lol since when is a suggestion not coming from a personal or collective opinion?
Okay, great, there is someone who has another point of view. If you have a spare time, please write the reason(s) why our feedback is not as worthy as the Korean testers’ so that the discussion can actually fruit. We know that IMC staff is lurking around on this forum reading “suggestions” or…if it is different according to you…opinions.
EDIT: oh, maybe, you literally do not understand what I was suggesting.
My humble suggestions for iCBT 2 are to (1) have increased EXP rate–just like what @ace_death is saying in this thread; (2) if possible, pray release the full content of the game at least until the latest patch of other CBT versions; and (3) save the final EXP adjustment for later tests.
ICBT2 experience rates shall be 50% of ICBT1 rates.
@jochris
I am not interested in discussing my opinion.
I simply told you I disagree.
If you’re curious, the reason is because I had some orange juice today.
I’m of the opinion that what IMC does, I’ll live.
(and that I disagree with the notion of our opinion carrying value. reason is stated above)
I have no interest in extending this discussion, so I suppose I have to stop here.
It depends what they want to test… People should not be upsed if the exp rate is still low because they are doing it for purpose…
A month is plenty of time to rank up. Especially if you don’t run around in areas with mobs way above your level like most of the people complaining about exp did.
They don’t need high level content feedback yet and you’d be wasting your time rushing through everything instead of thoroughly covering the stuff they’re focusing on now. They already know a ton of high level stuff is unfinished.
hope exp rates higher in icbt2
High exp rate gives you the opportunity to rush things aka- pass through essential mechanics/features that they might want some feedback.
Its time to test everything. Talk with every npc, go to all the corners of the map, jump around every tree/brush, cliff or structure and find bugs to report or elaborate some feedback.
Take your time to help and enjoy the game, not to rush everything.
