This game isn’t for casuals like you.
Right now max level takes 140 years of hard grinding.

Sounds like you didn’t get in but, Have you not heard of FEEDBACK?
It’s in beta - when the developers can change it without royally screwing the player base over by changing things drastically and being stuck with the consequences.
Somehow I find it hard to believe that you extracted the game data.
Exactly right. You spend 11-12 hours a day grinding to get to level 61, and all the while the curve continues to escalate and outpace the monster experience curve (up until the inevitable breaks where everything resets). At level 1 you make 5 experience a kill on level 1 mobs and require 12 to level up, while at level 30 you’re making about 50 a kill on level 30 mobs and require 46,036 experience to hack it. Assuming I’m not a total dumbass and my math is somewhat right, that’s a 383,600% (or ~3,836x) increase between requisite experience to level, and a 1000% (or 10x) increase between experience per kill on like-level mobs. Keep in mind that the curve doesn’t reset until the 40s.
They’re definitely not setting experience values manually, so it’s going to be determined by a function working with some variable they’ve set; there’s no way the monster experience curve is going to suddenly accelerate to a reasonable point at higher levels. It’s easy to average your gains and say “10 levels a day,” but at the end of the day it’s poor representation. 1 day you’re going to gain 26 levels. The next, 18, the next after that 12, and the following day 5. All the while still grinding those consistent 11 to 12 hours a day. I don’t see what the fixation is on the averaging. Anyway: TL;DR: thanks for posting that. You’re absolutely right.
They aren’t level 100 yet. As of right now, I think the highest is 94, if they keep going I’m sure they’ll reach 100
I agree, anyone who complains and moans about a “grind” in a game where a grind is heavily expected, esp when the grind is only a “herpaderp i got to 35 in 8 hours of grinding”. 8 hours huh? Try grinding a month to get one level and any deaths drop you 1% and it takes a third of a day to get that % back. The “grind” here is not even worth mentioning its a grind. Sure you kill the same mobs… but you should be farming items for crafts youre making! There is plenty to do in this beta besides just killing mobs 5+ levels than you.
I would say anyone who complains about how hard the grind is should be ignored, since the people who actually read these posts and shout chat already know this isnt a perm rate.
You could get max level in RO in 3-6 months. And you were level 90+ for most of that.
Level 35 in TOS is low. It’s not even 10% of the max level in the game. Why are you comparing low level grind to high level grind?
Why are you comparing Beta rates to official rates?
Why wouldn’t he? If they’re testing different rates on different servers it obviously means that they consider the current state of the exp rates on the ICBT a viable option for the official game.
Because they asked for feedback and while the rates may or may not be indicative of the final product that doesn’t necessarily mean they wont be? One doesnt rule out the other.
I think the level Cap is something for like bragging rights. Not everyone will be able to get to 500. Thats just my assumption from Mr Kim Hak kyu’s previous game. Assumption is that about 200-250 is where we will start seeing some end game Equips. I love Korean Grinding Games. Played them My whole life. If you dont like that play style there are plenty of other MMO’s out there that might meet your Criteria.
I played Ragnarok Religiously for about 6 years and Grando Espada for about 2 years. Took a big chunk of my childhood. Not saying this is Ragnarok 2, I will play any game that Mr. Kim Develops.
The problem isn’t even the level cap, the problem is that right now you’re hitting a new character with a massive grind wall not even halfway through the game. A character that just left mines is in his early 20s and has to grind on the same map to level 30 until they can actually progress through the game.
This is not comparable to RO. RO wasn’t linear.
They will reach 100 or not is absolute not what I asked for, as I know a kid will eventually be able to talk (well, not all kid but you know what I mean), but saying a kid can talk when he is just a week old is pure bullshit. He bullshitted, that’s all. In the very first day he said there are people who reached 60, I were at rank 83 when he said so and only 3x. The next day he said there are already 100+ level players and he used the word “easily” for that matter.
Because what the ■■■■ are those “official rates”? If no one talks about how they think the beta rate is bad then it will become the official rate. Do you really think this is not the case? Dammit how can some people be this genius and at the same time talk so confidently? Or is it because they are this genius that they talk like that? No one should have to bear this ■■■■! This is seriously making my head hurt…
no EXP rate is not ok you moronic hardcore grindfest lover
The exp rate is absolutely fine. The only issue at the moment is that this is a CBT and thus, we have limited time to play and level up our characters. I think ICM Games should definitely not change the exp rate in future betas/full release. If people claim they don’t have the time to “grind”, why even play a MMORPG or video games in general?
Plus, there is nothing wrong with progressing slowly in a game. It is not a race, the point is not to reach the end game as fast as possible. It is all about the journey, not the end.
no it’s not fine, other games got daily quests, daily activities, world events to gain exp/stuffs. this game dont have shjts only the mindless hardcore grind
server would be dead after a month if things are like this

bullshjt, what journey make us grind 24/7 at the same spot for days ?
Why on earth would you want daily quests? They always become a chore where you have to repeat a few of the exact same boring quests everyday. And you’re basically forced to do them or you will fall behind. That doesn’t give you options, it gives you requirements which no one wants.
Please don’t suggest daily quests because they are the worst fix for exp issues.
