this new event is favoring some classes over others by a lot, getting 400 tree crystal drops on my cleric takes a lot longer than it would on my archer or swordsman, but since i am unable to put them into team storage i have to spend hours to collect them

meanwhile, some people are done in 30 mins and have 500 pieces for the whole event

this is very unfair and imc should think about stuff like that before creating an event that requires some classes to spend half a day to get what other classes can in less than 1 hour

please go back to start thinking about players with your decisions if you boast doing just so, because you stopped couple of months ago and, atleast my server (na klaipeda) feels like a second rated , no one cares about it, server

It got at max 4 try to get the reward (It show if the lucky number is higher or lower)
You can stack tons of them on the same guy i’m not even trying and i got 160 while doing my quest.
You need maybe 80 orb at max to finish all 20 quest
You got 28 days to finish them all !

This is one of the esiest event and less time consuming they event done just destroye tree root you see while doing quest.

i am still a cleric and i do not need to kill the crystal roots at all, so it is going out of my way to find them, especially that at 279 i do not really walk around and kill mobs on my own nor do i do quests.

aka a lot more inconvenient for me than you, so proving my point

still if i go out of my way, which i have to… i am not ranged so i cannot just shoot every root i see from a far and while having melee basic attack i am unable to sprint, so for me it takes a lot longer than other classes

so i have to spend hours to get the same amount as you guys do in a lot shorter time

and i would be able to complete that task a lot faster on my alt mage or on my alt ranger or on my alt swordie, but i am not able to share the items via team storage

aka unfair event.

also it is not 80 for 20 days, you need 5 per each try at guessing number

I cannot for the life of me,understand why people are complaining about this event.

At level 279,you can basically pick any map you want to go to and kill tree root crystals.

Do you normally need to strike tree root crystals? No.But that’s not the point.In this event,you do need to hit them.You don’t even need to hit that many to earn a guess at the number.

The problem is that many people are trying to do the same thing: Find one place and farm enough crystals for the entire event.Hundreds of crystals.Of course everyone is going to have problems when the majority of people do that.

Most of us still here at this point log in daily anyway,so why do it all at once? Why make yourself that frustrated? Just log in and do a little bit everyday.If you get some extra ones for the next day,fine.If not,is it really that big of a deal? You have extra time to finish the event.

And yes,some classes are ranged and others are not.I know exactly what you’re talking about,as my main is a Dragoon.But this is typical in every MMO,and the crystals respawn relatively fast.

I’m sorry,but I think you and a number of other people are taking this a bit too seriously.it’s not unfair,as each class is obviously going to give you a different experience.

i can pick whichever map but its taking my main character A LOT LONGER to complete it than if i went with a swordie or ranger/mage

so the items should be atleast team shareable to not have faster/longer time depending on class, maybe read my reasons before posting.

4 tries is all you need for each day at most.

  1. Pick 5 if higher pick 8 lower pick 3

  2. In case of 8: lower pick 6, higher pick 9
    In case of 3: higher pick 4 - done, lower pick 2

  3. Should be self explanatory.

It took me an hour to farm 550 orbs on cleric

then you were luckier than me, it took me 1,5 h to get 200 on a map without competition and a lot of crystal trees, and that was all i did there.

4 tries still 5 orbs per try so still not 80

Obviously.That is literally the perk of ranged classes.They can hit things from farther away than you.If you find that your crystals are getting KS’d,try another map.

My reply was responding to your listed reasons and other replies in the thread.But if you need me to be more direct:

The event its self isn’t favoring any one class over another.These are normal class differences taking effect.

It shouldn’t be taking longer,and again: no reason to do so much at one time,especially if you’re playing daily. If you have so many maps with no competition as you claim,it should be way easier for you.

Half a day is quite the exaggeration.It’s not their fault you aren’t efficiently doing the event.

I think all the servers feel that way.But they aren’t exactly boasting about anything they’re doing with our version.

Just because I disagree with your opinions doesn’t mean I didn’t read them through.

i also said thaty i had no competition while killing the roots, so not sure where you got that i was being ksed by ranged classes

it all depends on luck, and without quests to teleport me around and no help from sprinting/mount/ranged attacks it takes a long time, aka unfair to have to use my main when i could go for one of my alts that have advantage

if the event is about farming tree roots then it is favoring some classes over the others by how quickly they can do it

about the longer… i have to run normally from one root to another and hit it with my melee attack, without being able to spring/range attack/etc that cuts on the time it takes to farm, not sure how to explain this so that you could understand

cleric without cheating will never farm tree roots as fast as other classes

yes, you did not read all of what i said, since i have to explain and point out what i said earlier

At this point I’m just gona say something …

Deal with it…

You don’t take a class that can sprint, you don’t take a class that can buff is speed you don’t take a class that can shot range.
(Btw ks … Almost all map I go are empty there plenty of map whitout people around / chanel / tree root short respawn time… that sound more for a excuse for me)
Anyway, you class can also do thing other class can,t do … JUST deal with it, If it take you hours of farming for a whole month duration event and in the end you probably have at least another 400 extra orb then that what you FORCE yourself to do.
Why you need to have all those orb absolutly the first day i mean … It like you would miss the event if you weren’t farming those the first day the event is out…
Even if it faster for another class TAKE IT EASY… You got 28 days to complet 20 days of event and need around less than 20 orb /day to complete it.

noone ksed me, i take the class that is my main class and that can heal others and do dmg, and i should be able to do the event as fast as any other person if the creators cared to make it the same for everyone

TAKE IT EASY yourself . we all have opinions and i am allowed to state mine as are you to state yours.

and going back to my first post my opinion is that the EVENT ITEMS SHOULD BE SHAREABLE VIA TEAM STORAGE SO THAT EVENT WOULD BE FAIR FOR ALL.

So… go into a map that you can farm the orbs, you don’t have to get 500 orbs in a day… 20 per day is enough, people complain a lot about that event, i’m doing with my archer lv 150 without any problems, wtf… and I read about:

Roxona Agency East building (Dullahan) is the best place to farm them. There’s around 20? and they respawn fast.

Then let make everyone A copy of eveyone
No class Systeme
No build/unique item
No pet or acesory (it make people different)
Wait also let make everyone the same lv because someone hihger lv would be faster to do it !!! It not fair Every got everything starting the game of no progression.
Also same pointless mob everywhere soo everyone do the same thing as everyone else and everyone is happy ! … Or not

MMORPG ARE NOT MADE TO BE EQUAL AT EVERYTHING TO EVERYTONE BECAUSE THERE A DIFFERENCE WITH CLASS THAT WHAT MAKE IT UNIQUE AND FUN !!!

if you start limiting thing for everyone because it take a bit more time to other and some could consider this unfair … well that what would result…

its ok if you have different opinion than me, but bashing me for wanting an event that is not a part of the game, its an addition created just now by devs, to be fair for all or at least to be able to use this games FEATURE of team storage to complete it is just very low of you

features of the game and event is wasty different, that said it is my right to want to be able to use something that they already added, aka my other character, team storage etc to complete an event that requires farming, that is why we are able to create ADDITIONAL CHARACTERS, so they can be used for PURPOSES OUR MAIN CHARACTER IS NOT DESIGNED FOR and i paid to be able to have as many of alts as i need for different stuff like farming and pvp cc, etc
that is also what MMO is about unless you have only one character slot and no shared storage, still not talking about daily mmo life but an EVENT

200 crystals is more than enough already.

It is very easy, in one day questing on my cleric without even going out of my way to kill more crystals I already got 110 of those (enough for the rest of the event already)

Some events will have tradeable prizes and some won’t, it’s up to the staff and what they want, every single cleric that wants this prizes on their Clerics will go through the same hardships as you. Don’t say something is not on the game design because everything they want to, will be into this games designs, want we or not.

You are basicaly saying you don’t want to spend 1 hour for 20 days of rewards because you could do it in 40 minutes with some other class.

Cut the crap, please stop being a child about this matter, you already got your Crystals, why are you still crying anyway?
