Element Property Attack

Can someone explain to me how these stats on gear work?

From my understanding, Arde Dagger: http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/113001/
is attractive for turning your regular attacks to a multi-hit attack with fire property and scales well with abilities.

I bought some goggles from market with a scroll enchant with 20 fire property attack (same stat as arde dagger just lower amount!) for cheap as I could, and can see the effect listed on my stat sheet (F1).

I dont do a multi-hit attack however, any benefit is completely unnoticable, is this different than arde dagger? Are my goggles busted?

Later on I plan to get Viper: http://www.tosbase.com/database/items/163104/
Should I expect multihit attacks with this? Does this affect all my skills or just my poison attrib ones? (As I plan on going wugushi next rank.)

Any explanation would be great. Thanks.

your goggles will add damage to each hit you do. I tested this with dark property I have on my hat, taking my weapon off. It adds the damage but it appears as a single number.

The wording on arde and on the enchant is not the same, that’s why.

The wording is exactly the same, only the value is lower.

Only difference is:
Arde Dagger = 153
Goggles = 19

Feel free to advise me what about “Fire Property Attack” is different other than the value because I’m confused.

Does Arde Dagger even provide a multi-hit? Can’t say I have one to test.

Thanks, its hard to notice with a low value like 20, does it double dip from blessing like additional damage does? One for phys, one for the elemental part?

This matters for me since I duo with a cleric.

Not sure if you’ve already received an answer, but from my knowledge “Property Attack” simply adds that value to your regular attack damage.

Certain items like the Cafrisun 4-piece set gives an “Additional Damage” of Earth, which essentially gives you an extra line of damage. This is probably what you’re looking for, since blessing does add onto these additional lines. Other spells like Sacrament and Enchant Fire also add extra lines.

For anyone that comes here looking for clarification, I’ve been using various Elemental Property Attack items for sometime now and the difference here is clear.

There are two stats:

  1. Additional Element Attack: Example, Cafrisun 4 set

This gives you an additional hit each time you do a regular hit with Z/left mouse click

  1. Elemental Property Attack: Example, Arde/headgear enchants/various other weapons.

This increases your flat damage of all hits ( including additional element attack ) by a flat amount, like Blessing / Concentrate skills. This will affect auto-attacks as well as damage skills.

Final Notes: These two work together very nicely, making cafrisun / pardoner buffs / arde very strong early game even on builds with garbage damage.

but does the Arde Dagger only add the damage on fire property monsters? Or any property?

Its added to every hit, no matter the enemy or attack. This makes it an exceptionally strong weapon early on
