As it stands, the Dungeon Finder will only allow someone to queue solo. This means that you are punished needlessly for being anything less than a group of 5. Someone playing with one or two friends shouldn’t have to say “well, guess we have to separate now for our queue”. With dungeons being what they are in the late game, this seems like a huge oversight.
Remove the EXP bonus (just for you, not for anyone in your party that happens to be solo) if that’s the issue, but I really don’t see any harm in allowing multiple people to queue using the Finder at once.
EDIT:
I am not saying whatsoever to remove the EXP bonus for solo players or otherwise alienate them. All I’m suggesting is to allow premades to use the finder to fill their gaps. The current system forces them to play a multiplayer game solo or try to find someone to fill their gap, which the finder makes impossible.
This is a basic facet of the system that every other MMO I’ve ever played or heard of implements. How many people are planning to play the game in groups of 2 through 4 and not aware they’ll have to split up for every single dungeon in the game?
So what I propose is:
-Allow groups of 2 through 4 to use the premade
-Remove the EXP bonus of 20% for premades using the finder
-Keep the EXP bonus for any solo player slotted into a group
