well i would like to make it easier for most maybe a grave for the last killer …
or that all WB Spawn everytime at the exact time …
if they were killed
About the “8 hour timer for cubes from world bosses” from kTOS being a good thing:
While the idea is interesting, I don’t think that would stop people who like to control boss spawns to just kill the boss again when he respawns, even if they don’t get a cube for another 8 hours.
Controlling the boss timer and controlling the item prices by keeping a monopoly on the market (aswell as trolling those who try to be a competition) is probably more important for them than getting no loot a few times.
people are crying for communism

I’ll speculate that defenders of the unfair system are plausibly and by far botters/ RMT/ direct beneficiaries of the unfair/broken system.
Having end game content, or any content for that matter - available to only a microscopic percentage of the player base is empirically retarded by design.
I hate to play the WoW card but it is still to this day a Billion dollar powerhouse, the main point being that it’s evidence that having gear available to every single person was/is not a bad thing in any conceivable way UNLESS you are a RMT/ Botter /narcissistic retard.
The over rarity of gear is directly a MASSIVE incentive for botting and RMT. And consequently a huge de-motivation to ever touch this game. Look at the steam rating, it is actually going down in rating over time. That is not a good thing, and it is NOT surprising at all. Go and read the reviews and you will see EXACTLY what the most prevalent negative themes are.
All of these problems are systemic.
Well but if u wanna change thing wow like … u need a lot more content …
A lot more items and Dungeons and mechanics and guidance and and and.
Ok - let’s play with a theory. What would occur if you dramatically increased drop rates? and why? I think it would improve pvp playability dramatically. As it would free up the time to indulge in it. It would solve all the botting/RMT problems also as the incentive would drop.
The only people complaining about this are people that don’t know high end content and think Dulla matters…
Dulla drops crap and is in no way needed for end game gear, bored people camp it because he’s easy to camp and eventually you can get a karacha that you’d sell for 1m~. All the other bosses are fine, why the f is this debuff for…
And those who speaks about controlling the economy… it’s not by dropping 1 Karacha that cost 1m~ every 50 cube that you will control anything…
That’s not the point, the point is that it is by practical means unaccessable content to the vast majority and as you point out your self serves no purpose except in actuality a negative one. I disagree that that is the impression you want to impart on players first time around.
This crimson guild must love all the bitching about them. They’re getting so much attention on this thread.
The naivete dream of RMT and botting will drop just by giving away RARE items easily. Ah, must be lovely to live in wonderland.
So apparently only botters/RMTs are the people who are fine with the system. We apparently can’t just totally ignore the boss, or have been playing MMOs since Lineage.
I’ll speculate the complainants to be people ever being exposed to MMOs when blizzard released WoW(After Vanilla). Coz apparently they like their games easy.
Here’s to the only person here who seems to get it. It’s not about how much the loot is worth, or whether it’s worth everyone’s time, or about who’s bad or not or whatever.
The system is broken because the current set of non-endgame world bosses are so easy to kill and can be camped without limitation. So a very small group of DPS-only optimized players can literally camp all of them. There’s essentially only room for 2 groups of ~10 players on the server to participate in world bossing, and that’s very silly.
The game needs to allow for more people to experience taking down a tough boss ( as opposed to a small group annihilating a lower level boss in 20-40 seconds because there’s nothing else to do ). There needs to be more minibosses, and more challenging world bosses that require a tank and non-DPS supports ( healing ).
What I think ideally would be the case ( in addition to making the world bosses actually tough and needing a tank to deal with ), would require the game to change somewhat. Ideally, people would spend more time on maps ( grinding ), and run into randomly-spawning minibosses and bosses, and they would be tough enough that you would have to call others to come and help take it down.
The reason randomly spawning bosses aren’t so viable right now, is that people don’t spend a lot of time on maps, they just clear quests and move on. This means that the only people who would likely find them would be the boss campers, and it would just make boss hunting a huge pain for them, instead of helping fix the problem. The game doesn’t become a grinding game until 220, and the bosses we’re discussing here are all sub-220. So if instead of copping out on their bad design of the game sub-220 and calling it a “giant tutorial”, maybe IMC could actually rework that part of the game.
Also maybe we can address the other things that were said here. If it’s not worth it to spend time camping every world boss, then why do we see people doing it? Are we calling them stupid? Are the “top” players just completely wasting their time just because?
And if we’re talking about Crimson, no, not everyone is nice, and you can find someone putting up an icewall to block you as you run towards a boss spawn to stop you from getting there, or casting rain knowing that you have a pyromancer doing main DPS. If it’s so inclusive, then why stack DPS all in one party to take the top DPS spots and deny other parties cubes? ( Other guilds don’t do this btw, and when my group was hunting bosses we actively formed parties and split DPS among 3-6 parties so everyone got a share ). You can get a cube for your party by only having one top DPS and supporting them, but you don’t. I don’t care how many members show up to spread flowery words about themselves, the truth is only in your actions.
I also don’t find the current form of world bossing to be very “competitive.” It’s basically a check if you have the current best DPS build class ( preferably one that doesn’t need proper FPS to do any damage, so someone who lays down AoEs ), and can press buttons in a rotation. For a game that boasts so many classes and class combinations, why am I suddenly forced to make one of ~4 viable class combinations to participate in the bossing part of the game?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not advocating that it should be easier, or that every build should just be able to do amazingly well. I’m absolutely advocating for bosses to be harder, so that it takes a real team to deal with it and take it down, and it’s not about being one of the FoTM builds that happens to do well. I have no desire to tell my friends that we should all reroll a single class just to participate in a part of the game.
I have looted 115 dullahan cubes (according to adventure journal) and not a single karacha dagger, about 9 armor fragments, and that’s it, i hardly think it was worth the time wasted sitting and waiting for the event.
You’re talking about Jace who takes 2 or 3 Fletcher’s wih him from outside our guild effectively denying our own people from getting cubes. With regard to ice walling we have been the ones at the receiving end of that treatment. I myself never claimed us to be inclusive. Yes people can and do invite their friends into Wb parties and they’re not necessarily from the guild. I’m fairly certain you have no evidence to show that the wallers are in fact from the guild because I know exactly who those people are. With the exception of the fletcher stacking being done by one of our members of course, but that is currently an issue being dealt with. We are not all inclusive. it would be stupid to be just that in order to attempt to sate the never ending stream of complaints… But That doesn’t mean people cannot have positive experiences partying with us. We are not immune from internal disputes and we do have our problems with particular members, dps stacking specifically. If you can provide me with proof of your accusations then I will stand corrected. That someone is casting rain specifically to deny you and that you were able to identify that that spell was cast specifically by a Crimson member. One thing I will agree with you on is that the truth is in our actions and we are successful.
None of us are hacking, or ddosing people, or controlling all the gold bots, conniving with IMC so that we get zero lag. We weren’t handed out exclusive buffs or any other unfair advantages that you can think of over the rest of you. The game needs a lot of improvement, yes… The Wb system is broken and unfair… Call it whatever you want. I’m inclined to agree that the system is horrid but we’re not about to sit down and stop playing or stop capitalizing on what the current system has to offer just to spare your feelings.
There are cubes to be had and we will be trying to take them. Deal with it.
The sole idea of this is hilarious.
Like imc would care about a small group of their playerbase but the whales. Even in this case, it’s almost as if they weren’t trying.

Klaipeda is completely ruled by the Crimson guild. “Jace” and his group somehow control all the boss cubes of dullahan and is going to make ANOTHER video of him opening over 100 cubes. I tried it with a good group last night(even with a 280) and my whole group froze in lag once the boss spawned and somehow Jace and his group still gets the cube? This game is getting ridiculous. Even if you rise up and try to contest the elite team, you just lose to lag.
People seem to think we are employing magical lag immunity methods or devices to deny them of their God-given right to cubes.
people are crying for communism

Are you implying the idea of communism is a bad thing?
Also, if you deduce from this topic that people “want communism” i don’t think you know what communism actually means.
Don’t misunderstand me, I’m not calling you evil or saying that you’re doing something illegitimate ( I feel like that’s clear though? ). The system is set up in such a way that players can abuse it to their advantage, and it’s expected that they will. I don’t have any problem with that, as far as the players are concerned. The fault is on IMC if it makes the game not enjoyable for a large portion of players.
I’m just calling BS on the flowery descriptions of your guild, and pointing out that’s there is actual cause for criticism. You don’t have to be inclusive, but you can’t ( as a guild, even though you didn’t personally say it someone else did ) act like you are and then not be without someone calling you out. A guild is a team and their actions are taken as a whole. You can’t simply separate yourself.
If we’re talking specifics, by my count there’s at least 5 Crimson fletchers that show up consistently to WBs, and I only notice one out-of-guild that gets included in Jace’s party sometimes. Generally this means two parties from Crimson, with ~6 fletchers total, meaning 6 members shooting for top DPS ( this doesn’t always happen, as most people of course have to sleep sometimes ). The one who casts rain ( and he only does it if there is a pyro DPS present, I don’t see it cast otherwise ) is Kuroi, although he doesn’t show up that often. I can’t always see who casts the icewall ( and taking a screenshot when you’re running for the boss is hard ), but when you get past it and catch up to Jace’s party alone and no one else at the boss, it paints a pretty clear picture. I’m not saying they’re the only ones that do it though.
Again, you’re free to do whatever you want, the game allows it, and there’s nothing illegitimate. However you have to take the bad PR that you will get from having party comps that deny other groups cubes ( and groups that will sabotage DPS ), when no other guild on the server is doing this consistently. And on that point…
Aistra may be the other guild that shows up to most world bosses and competes, but they do not practice it in the same way. Two parties of Aistra would not block other groups from being able to participate and get a cube. They don’t stack DPS, and generally have one carry per party. There’s a reason that Crimson gets the spotlight.
I feel the need to say it, since it feels like I’m on some tirade against your guild. That’s not my purpose, I’m only pointing out that some criticism is valid, and you can’t shoot it all down. The true fault lies in the game mechanics, and the game itself needs to change. We can’t ask the players to not do what is most efficient, or what nets them the most loot and denies their competition any advantage.
Some Sherlock Holmes ■■■■ you guys pull out holy hell, that’s nice.
now, Ontopic, funny how everyone complains of fletchers from our guild etting the cubes, just maybe get a freaking fletcher and do it yourself? one of the players in my party for ET couldn’t get a cube with his wizard so he rerolled fletcher for wbs. That’s all he had to do.
And about the guys that stack fletchers, which pretty much it’s just jace, I don’t give a ■■■■, he is an ■■■■■■■ tbh.
a) It would drop alot of the incentive how is that even deniable?
b) the point totally flew over your head.
c) You say “easy” - I say reasonable. And weather or not you like WoW their annual billion dollar net gain is not false, unlike your assumptions.
One could viably argue that it wasn’t “easy” at all as it still required a indisputable massive amount of time investment. point being that you knew if you invested a specific amount of time you were by practical means guaranteed to be rewarded. unlike ToS where if massive is used to describe WoW I don’t know what to call 0.001% drop chance. I think bot heaven is accurate actually. Look at diablo 2 with drop rates like Jah-0.000205% - Ber-0.0004083%. it was most certainly bot heaven. and I’ll wager it is directly co-related.
Great gamedesign. Fletcher of gtfo.
