DPK is indeed worse than before

It will drop for both. So there will be no angst. Thats what IMC trying to avoid.

Except that’s not how it works. It drops for player A, which resets the DPK count mapwide and thus also for player B on the other channel.

I mean we could go back and forth like this forever, your word against like…5 others in this thread alone, but hey. Believe what you gotta believe~

No, provide a source, or better yet prove it yourself. All evidence thus far points to no.

All of our playing has supported the negative aspect, thus can easily be dis proven with sufficient evidence.

Trust me when I say this, most of us would love to be horribly wrong, since it would be a very very good thing.

We have literally provided pages of evidence. You have provided nothing but misinterpretation of an interview that we all have read.

You can debunked by testing it yourself. So we will not say the same thing like me and you. What i mean test is properly tested. Ill not do all the hard work for you. Ill gain nothing from this but you do.

I don’t think that IMC is lying either. I think you’re misintrepreting what they are saying.

No where in this does it say that both get the drop. It just says both have the same chance to get it, not that both will for sure get the drop.

This doesn’t prove anything either. It’s different (but similar) issue, that hopefully is not possible anymore with the new system. That doesn’t however mean that players in different channels all get a drop.

Maybe they just aren’t aware how discouraging it is for us when we don’t get drops at all even when simultanously working on the same goal.
This is why it’s good to provide feedback about it.

I firmly believe that the drop of items is 50% higher than beforeas they stated. But not to each player. Dpk counts are reached faster when it’s map based so technically more items will drop. That doesn’t ensure that everyone farming gets the advantage from that. This needs to be changed.

I never left as I like the game a lot, but these things are mind blowing. With the new damage formula, they should help players close the gap in order to be able to farm higher content.
This DPK system, on top of an RNG cube inside HG, is as bad, or even worse, than the mystical cube.
1/20000 for a weapon cube, which is also RNG, is foolish.

I don’t know how to tell you this but the very people you’re replying to have already done tests and posted them. So uhm…

Ah you mean the april one? That test is what youre basing your statement is from? I dont think people here properly tested the DPK lol.

I did my tests right after the full implementation, drop it.

Not just that one alone, but if you want to continue from that, the full system was in place back then too. It’s just as valid as any tests done right now.

This is a core problem to me.

A player does not care if the overall gain is greater, they only care about personal gain(either they or someone they like gets an item). This is especially true if they put in more effort and see no reward.

You would figure that someone from South Korea would have a good understanding of the downfalls of socialist models for an economy.

I get it. You either are intending to exploit the game and players, or you are making It up as you go along. Much like that kid who knows super secret ninja moves but doesn’t want to use them.

This is a prime example of what convuleted loot systems do to the playerbase.

I don’t know it it helps, but yesterday I had to grind Denden Petals.
Drop rate is 1%, it took me more than 400 of them to drop 4 petals but I swelled every single Denden.

There were other ppl on the other channel as well.

Look at jynxie08’s post history. He is a known troll when it comes to DPK topics.

Before yes, but now it isnt possible anymore. Thats why im telling this about that to you now. For the record the DPK in the hunting ground implementation was using the previous DPK, not channel based. Thats why the loots are super easy then it will drop thrice. Then IMC revised this without any patch notes, and used the revised DPK for channel based. Then full implementation.

I forgot exactly what IMC said about the 1st revision. Ill edit this and include that after i got home. Then we have here another clue how it could drop, i share them to you, you test it properly this time using “Channel-based, Each channel, DPK, HG DG not resetting” instead of “intention of how long it will drop” from the cat. Then youll get your answer. I value what IMC devs are saying about the drop, because if you can guess them, it will give you tons of loots.

Full of loopholes? Let’s dissect the post then.

  • Wizard Bracelet DPK is confirmed to be 950~1050. The files can’t lie because the game uses them directly.

  • On an empty channel, but with people in channel 1, he got 0 drops after 1260 kills.

  • Considering he was killing non-stop, if your kill range of “10 kills after it dropped for one player” did still exist (which it doesn’t), he’d have gotten the item already. If not more than one. This was unique to pre-April 3rd drop system.

  • He was already past the max DPK of 1050. There’s no way to know at which point in the DPK range he entered the map, could’ve been 1/200 or 1/800. Either way, going by the DPK given and how he had already killed more than that, it should have dropped…

  • Unless the players in channel 1 dropped it at say, 1/500 rate, and it reset back to 1/1050 before he could get it to drop himself; Even if you were right about there being a timeframe in which both channels can get a drop before it resets, it’s a horrible system because that then means that any kills person A does during that ‘not yet reset’ perdiod are completely pointless if the item doesn’t also drop for him. You wouldn’t even be reducing the DPK until it reset.

While your general points are sound, you seem to have no idea what free market or socialism actually are. You should not repeat talking points from fringe media in your country when using terms, but the actual definitions.

This is incorrect and contradicts what the devs said in the interview. Please do not spread misinformation.

A few times I would hit 1200+ kills with no zeffi ornament drop (third session or 4th) with just me alone in the map for hrs. Could be human error on my part and actually someone on another channel sniped my drop. Other orange dpk mats (except yellow caros), it’s averaging mostly 2 drops/hr regardless if I’m alone or not. The thing is that it’s hard to tell. Other people in the other channel could very well just be questing or farming other mats. Maybe I could bug my friend to test it out with me in a few days.

Maybe you tested it like Cat alley “how long it will drop” instead of per channel drop, shared channel, then maybe your test is wrong like him.
