Don't remove magic scrolls

It’s convenience because you will be able to buy it at the marketplace. (from all those people gambling away their money to get a better stat)

In the end you’re saving the time from getting enough silver to do so.
You could also do the same by selling token, getting silver, and buying in the marketplace.

So whats is stoping you from also supporting bosses boxes , Xp cards and Golden Anvils being added to the store? Nothing right?

I’m sorry, but your pay for Convenience definition to me is very much desguising pay to win elements being added to the store. Sorry but I am and will always be 100% against and I will not support the game if such things are added.

In the end, its plain and simple . Paying for Stats.

You seem already close minded on the topic. I don’t see any value to discuss this with you. Since you can’t hear anything and only are trying to cry over it.

Bad news for you though, the game is and will most likely be like this (with magic scroll). Maybe it’s time for you to find other alternatives.

Golden anvils and xp cards have pre determined effects and are not a rng hell.

Its not that plain and simple, because your calling it one thing, when its many other things. It is in fact pay for convenience, what your doing is trying to make it seem like its just one thing like “paying for stats” because your not okay with this type of convenience.

Let’s shift the discussion a little bit.
To everyone supporting the Scroll being in the shop, where do you draw this line?

Yep , And I’m not going to buy a single one , I will spend all 650 tp and more to come in Cosmetics and tokens ? Why is that? Because there are better and smartter ways to sell those enchants without it being labeled pay to win. You say im close minded, so are you isnt it? I also invite anyone that doesnt support this not to buy those scrolls either. I’ve seem games fail with less then this

@SynysterOne

read their arguments, their reasonning behind the Stat selling is and I quote: “It’s convenience because you can drop them too”. So my point is , whats stopping people from also supporting other stuff being selled that also sell in the game?

They.Drop.In.Game

I don’t care the %. I really don’t. As long as it’s a feasible drop in game, you are paying for convenience. Period.

One thing players who have no desire to use the cash shop might consider, as an alternative to burn it with fire, is lobbying for an increased but reasonable drop rate for them in dungeon runs.

While I support the magic scrolls because they’re minimal as a bonus. I think all that stuff Sabin was saying we think is ok to add, is not okay to add to the store.

Keep whats already in the store.

Not at all, I’m actually reading every arguments made hear and there, on contrary to you.

So if I understand you correctly you basically want the game to fail because you don’t like one of their way of handling cash shop. And are trying to incite other people to make the game fail?

I myself would prefer the game to be a success and continue for a long time… I guess that’s the main difference here

LOL there are many things that could kill this game, this scroll is not among them.

I want the game to fail because I do not support stat selling. Is that correct?

So you are saying that stat selling is a way to make a game prosper, gosh that must be some kind of magic, I wonder why not so many games do that these days though.

The difference here is , you want to buy your stats, I want the game to be a success. You see the difference?

Out of topic now. RO1 is SUPER GRINDY, ToS WILL BE TOO, deal with it if you dont want grind, go to WoW.

It sure helps a lot.

Question have you played the game since the addition of stat scrolls?

This is the discussion I would rather have.
I honestly have no issue with the Scrolls being in the shop.
I have an issue with the availability of them outside of the shop.
If I invest 19hrs a day into the game, I am capped on how many scrolls I can get.
My main point in my arguments has been that the balance is off.

I’ve been playing this game since the start, why?

Could you make your answer clearer have you played KToS post stat scrolls?

Yes, I did play and I dont see why that matters?

@SynysterOne

Exactly ! Where Do we draw the line between convenience and pay to win elements when it comes to rng drops and advantages? Thats the real question, but the “I want my stats” supporters can’t see that.

Each Scroll individually has such a minimal effect, they are nowhere as good as the items you list there. I consider it more akin to selling Alchemist Potions on the Cash Shop.

I still like Magic Scrolls and want them to stay, but I can see the line is hard to draw. Just because something can be dropped in-game doesn’t necessarily make the the game not P2W.
