Are you really teasing though?
One of the big arguments against the Scroll is it sets a precedent.
So if the Scroll stays in and becomes obsolete, odds are it will be replaced with something new/better.
The same can be said about purchasing cosmetics items that are tradeable.
-You canât find cosmetics from drops(i think)
-It still invites cheaters because thereâs no drop
-Jealousy
-Still encourages goldbuying
Should we remove all buyable/tradeable things from the shop?
20% HPâŚ
and someone was calling that âinsignificantâ
And we argued about 0.5%
- 2 more additional stat. âInsignificantâ
ROFL
You donât want the scrolls to have the same drop rate as xp cards and gold anvils. thats a feel bad drop rate.
In loaded examples. when your using a wizard or a cleric with very low con all hp looks big.
your overreacting, its just hp. I havenât even done the math on any of the element stats or anything⌠significant.
Oh ok. Go on then.
Ignore my post.
Pretty sure you canât trade cashshop cosmetics in the marketplace. No one cares if you cheat to get in game cosmetic items since it doesnât add stats. People get upset over competition advantages in games not stuff like this. It doesnât encourage gold buying if the rng is normal which makes the prices low and the only reason why hats are any worth right now is because people are buying them to use magics scrolls on.
Hats varied from low to millions in the ICBT before scrolls existed. So it is not the only reason they have worth. Vanity always makes things expensive.
what competition advantage? remember these stats donât affect endgame.
According to you. Some of those stats are pretty good or canât be gained by any other means.
If stuff like that was so insignificant, then people wouldnât get angry over +3 movement speed buff the token causes.
Doesnât work in arena, and really shouldnât work in gvg but currently does.
This is exactly why I like the idea of RNG scrolls. If the scrolls were removed, what else is there to spend $200-$300 a month on?
Cosmetics? Not everyone cares about those.
EXP Scrolls? You wonât need them at max level.
Tokens to sell at auction for silver? With the current market systemâs delay thing, there is a cap of 25(?) items you can sell on the auction per day. So maybe whales can do thisâŚ
The only other thing would be Soul Crystals, but you would have to die a lot to spend $300 a month on those.
By removing scrolls entirely you are essentially putting a cap on the amount of money someone may spend in a month, and therefore directly cutting into IMCs potential profits.
I mentioned canât be gained by other means, not âgoodâ.
That changes everything just by saying its not great or good, its just there.
Just because thereâs nothing else in the cash shop doesnât mean you should put something bad up there.
By no means am I saying they shouldnât have amazing and exclusive items on the cash shop.
I would even be okay with unique companions, as long as they were no better than the strongest one you can get in-game.(Just for example)
I fail to understand how someone who paid in the cash-shop for an enchanted magic scroll headgear will be stronger than myself who bought the same headgear at the auction house with silverâŚ
He won time sure, but itâs the same with xp scroll, premium token, etc.
This is just the start of RNG
Even though the effect is not huge in late game, itâs the start of P2W system
I can tell what gonna happen if no one complains: more powerful enchant and higher cost scrolls will be here one day
(Reminds me the days for Fallen Angle Wings, Wihite Wing Suites, RWC)
Well for example if itâs possible to get the same stat type for all 3 slots thatâs +3 movement speed on each one. So thatâs +9 movement speed total. Someone is going to cheat to get this I guarantee.
People are getting angry over +3. This is a very significant stat, so donât pretend it isnât.
Do the hat stats work in arena? Theyâll be working in gvg at least due to the nature of how things are coded. So can you see the problem with how over powered these stats are?
Have you ever heard of:
They are proof positive that if you just sell cosmetics, stash space, and things like that, that you can be enormously successful with an extremely devoted fan base and following.
Also, you really donât need to be trying to defend imc. Iâm sure they have a marketing division that theyâre paying to do that already.
Where you getting your information that says +3 movement speed on a headgear is possible? I want to look at that website source.
