Well, 20-30% would indeed be reasonable, assuming it remains the same even in the international version.
Actually it isnāt blown out of proportion, it does infact not help u do 25x more damage on every auto attack. Itās +2 damage per auto attack and it being in the shop is acceptable.
Fixed my quote i grabbed to much, just ment to grab the āits the concept that matters partā
The problem is less what these scrolls do as is &
more about what else allowing them to be may lead to.
So I do understand you wanting them there to some extent.
Although I find it annoying that with these scrolls I wonāt just change my hats willy-nilly and wear whatever I like just for cosmetic purposes ā
& instead will be stuck with using which ever hat I got the best stats on.
That is true but we canāt really complain about that till we see datamined info on changed drop rates or what they are on the 29th.
Similar reasoning isā¦ You get exp from killing monsters. But if getting exp was reasonable, why would IMC be selling exp boosters in the cash shop? Pretty much everyone would be just playing the game normally to level instead of paying to level. There would be no money to be made from such a situation.
Thatās variable from game to game.
2400 hpā¦ letās seeā¦
For a level 280 wizard with 175 points into CON, thatās a 10% increase in health.
It IS the concept as everything is relative.
2 dungeon runs for non-token players. 4 for token players.
So even at a bloated 50% drop rate, you said 2 cubes per boss? Thatās an average 2(4) Scrolls per day. (unless itās 2(4) runs for each dungeon, but remember, bloated drop rate for discussion)
Meanwhile, $20 will get you 200TP(I donāt know exact tp cost) which if the Scrolls stay at 8TP will be 25 scrolls. We all know there will be people putting $200-$300 in per month.
Ignoring all other reasoning against Scrolls.
The balance is way off.
P.S
Sorry, 2400hp at most. Fixed with edit.
+1 for not to remove those scrolls, let people try to spend millions dollars to get very best stats
You donāt get that muchā¦
Pretty much this, I get that the money was/wasnāt exaggeration but its still spot on. Its not much to get from these stats, so let us.
something like 3 %
Where are you getting this number?
Itās been said the perfect hp stat is 800, and thereās 3 headgears. 8x3=24 blablabla.
o i thought the hp stat was lower im gonna go back in the ktos forums and check that again.
Edit: your right but then again what is 2400 hp going to be at lvl 600 lol
well its a fixed stat, so it doesnāt get upgraded as you lvl.
But if you mean how helpful is 2.4k, lets just consider lvl 280 for now
This is the cleric pvp stat build I had in mind, 239spr, 40con.
2400hp/11789hp=.20
Thats about a 20%hp boost. Not sure what to say about that. Considering in pvp 1shotting is still a thing, Iād say not much.
lvl 600 is when they add the more expensive " Premium Magic Scroll ++ "
to the cash shop with higher improved stats!!!
(iām teasing lol)
@SynysterOne Oh, itās somewhat a genuine worry! I meant more that I was specifically joking with august ā
also used āteasingā because I am by no means an oracle & canāt know if that will really happen with lvl 600 content.
This. I think ToS would be a much better game without Magic Scrolls.
Iām in favor of either changing how itās done with less rng or remove it all together. Keeping it as it is, isnāt good for people. It will:
- Be an item people that avoid purchasing due to low odds.
- An item that will cause upset to cash-cow/whale customers (Iām certain there will be people blowing large amounts of money on this and then rage quitting).
- People trying the item and becoming upset by the results and discourage from purchasing any rng related items in the future.
- Invites cheaters to try and dupe items or manipulate the rng.
- Upsets players over the idea of an item giving stats to cosmetics at all.
- Encourages people to seek goldsellers to buy these items at high prices on the market.
I feel as though this item really is going to cause more harm than good. What could possibly be so good about this item that youād allow the above possible outcomes to happen?
Orā¦ orā¦ turn magic scrolls into āMotivational Dropsā like Golden Anvils and Exp Cards since Itās not really appropriate as a dungeon reward. Letās have farmable drops that encourage casual grinding.
And completely remove it from the cash shop. Thatād be cool.
