Yes it does but it isn’t worth it. You only get 1 mdef every 4 SPR
Oh, so its every 4 spr … that sux a bit but I’lll try to test some builds with 1/4/2 Con/Spr/Dex spammer types XDDD
No wonder Wiz 90% rule PVP nowadays …

you can put SPR if want spam archer skills, just for MDef do not worth it…
… Guess I’ll just compensate with armors and headgears ( rare ) for the MDEF … accessories … archers are so squishy already lol …
