In iCBT2 you had to turn your character manually during kneeling shot to hit enemies within range. So if an enemy was behind you, you’d have to do a full 360 while kneeling just to go and hit it. That wasn’t too bad but it did irk me a bit since I couldn’t just hold down the attack key and let my character do all the work. Another thing that was a bother about kneeling shot was that you couldn’t get out of it until you pressed the skill again, but I learned that you can now jump out if it instead.
So the question is, in this new version of ToS, does kneeling shot let you auto track enemies within range so that you don’t have to manually turn your character yourself?
I’m creating a cannoneer build with archer3 and scout3 in it and was debating on whether or not maxed out lv10 kneeling shot was worth it (they used to have lv15 but nerfed it) instead of multishot or if I should just roll with lv10 multishot and lv4 full draw. If I went with kneeling shot, I would probably take out some points in swift step and put them into multishot as it’s a good skill to have and with kneeling shot I won’t be needing it much since I won’t be as mobile.
Here’s the build:
This is primarily a farming build so mobility is most desired. I was thinking of just not going kneeling shot as at scout3 you can just spam split arrow and move on.
