A little clarification: I’m not trying to fix anything, and I’m not really trying to start an argument. I just wanted to generally know how people felt. And I guess most people don’t care? Most people seem pretty okay with casual racism, which isn’t at all surprising.
My honest opinion as a BR: it’s way more annoying being treated as a “race” and have people pitying my kind for an inexistant racism than receiving xenophobic insults from a total stranger whose existance I’ll forget tomorrow. 
THERE IS NO BRAZILIAN RACE, SO PLEASE STOP TREATING US AS A ■■■■■■■ RACE AND SPOUTING WE’RE BEING VICTIMS OF RACISM ON PURE XENOPHOBIA CASES, FOR ■■■■’S SAKE!

Playing on a crowded server with a higher chance of meeting total jerks worldwide doesn’t bother me at all. That’s how the world outside your PC is.
I see no one pitying brazilians aside from themselves lol.
@nethereus and @Minttu got it right with simple words, douches are located everywhere and the attitude is not bound to any nationality.
Brazilians have been treated like this due to what they did and keep on doing throughout the online gaming history.
As for the ones that is discussing the subject in this topic, it pleases me to know that some people do think differently. 
I have watched BR play on twitch and none of them were being annoying by KS or spamming and such, they just played. I still failed to see the problem of BR or anybody not speaking English.

It’s not really racism mind you… it’s general intolerance for the “different”. It’s a global phenomenon that just gets dragged into games by intolerant people, best option is to report the person being intolerant. 
People just mix up general intolerance with racism for that dramatic effect it brings.

and yes, I’d be very bothered if I encounter members of this gaming community exhibiting such a disgusting behavior.
however, truth be told, if the bigot is just trolling around in the forums or in-game and/or failing to cause a stir because s/he’s a gorram idiot, I definitely wouldn’t waste my time calling out that person.
let them dig their own graves for all I care.
Except that it’s not. If xenophobia and racism were the same, there wouldn’t be racism from brazilians towards differently skin-colored brazilians since, y’know, you can’t be xenophobic towards someone who is a natural from your own country.
As for intolerance, it’s a completely different matter. Women of any race and nationality can be intolerant towards men of any race and nationality. Liberals of any race, gender and nationality can be intolerant towards conservatives of any race, gender and nationality. Basically anyone can be intolerant towards anyone.
Please, don’t say it’s only semantics. Racism, xenophobia and intolerance are three completely different concepts. Like Priest, Krivis and Bokor stem from Cleric but are not the same, racism, xenophobia and intolerance stem from bigotry but are not the same.

It does bother me. People’s stupidity.
The game is only two weeks old, and yet I already see myself staying only on party/normal chats because shout chat makes me sigh. Too much stupidity.
If people are racist, perverts, or whatever, good for them, really.
I just don’t get why they’ll spam it constantly on the chat… Sure, you like your ding dong, sure, you hate BR. But how is that related to the other players ?
I just have to stay on shout chat for 20 minutes to see some perverted/racist comments (maybe I’m just that unlucky though XD).
I also don’t get why people hate on people who speak another language, actually.
In games I often see people speak in Portuguese and Pinoy… I don’t see the problem. Yes, I don’t understand them, so what ? It’s not like they’re speaking to me. They’re speaking to another community.
Only problem I have is if two people are obviously in a “private” discussion for over 10-20 minutes on shout chat. If you want to specifically speak to X, just whisper them.
But if it’s a group chat/aimed to a community… Meh. I don’t care. People are free, you know.
@Deprox: You should take into account the words and semantics of the English language, you know. Also the fact that terms evolve.

Brazilians are not a race. People have no issue with Brazilians or anyone else that doesn’t spam or actively try to ruin communities.
For the record Brazilian players in MMOs have actually earned the distaste other people have for them.
