As titled above, since i’m reaching R6 soon i wanted to clarify this for pvp/hitmanning

Dang, so no synergy at all in pvp between falconer and cloaking? hmm, although it is viable in PvE due to circling but knowing that the hawk will reveal my position nevertheless makes falconer useless for hitmanning.

You can use Roost. The Hawk will rest there while you have cloaking activated.
Edit:
The Hawk follows you but it lags behind, meaning as long as you stay on the move and change direction frequently you can somehow avoid being targeted by AoEs in TBL
You can also hide your Hawk, given that he’s your only companion at that time then reactivate the Hawk if you need to use Falconer skills.
It has drawbacks but it doesn’t mean that it has 0 synergy, it’s just take more effort to make it work. You can surprise the enemy w/ Cloaking while Hawk hidden then quickly reactivate it then use Hovering. It can perma CC one target

OMG thank you so much for this, especially the credibility and the informations coming from one whom actually experienced it. I didn’t know hawk can be deactivated, i thought it just follows you permanently and you cant do anything about it. I guess i’ll be a falconer on r6 !

You can deactivate/activate pet using the F9 (Companion) window. If you have other pets activated then yeah you can’t turn off the Hawk so careful with that.
