DLC is too expensive pls reprice or edit

There you go editted; usually you get more if you buy more in other games.

If you think $25-$35 is a ‘whale’, I have a bad news for you…

You’ve got bigger things to worry about.

Then you don’t go to that restaurant  Because food there is simply not worth it for your desire for it.

If your desire isn’t strong enough to spend the money for its price tag, then it’s a bad product (or you’re poor)

in short

you’re either poor or you don’t want it enough if you’re not

Subtle yet epic. I like how you delivered your ‘message’ here

imc hates canada

Get a JOB RETARD Stop Complaining.

lol in a perfect world, but we live in a society where if a place is doing something u don’t want them to do you sue them for hate speech and get them fined

I’d like to see you try and get IMC fined

Also, you want the DLC so badly you’d make an account called IMCisGreedy yet you can’t afford the game.

Either you don’t want it enough (go play something else), or you can’t afford it ($20-$30 spare a month)

Dude, you moved to better games then please stay there. It’s like you bitter about how people decide what’s worth and what’s not. Funny thing after your comment they did reduce the premium price.
You are no longer a part of ToS player community and no longer IMC’s customer, what you think doesn’t matter.
We are here because we like playing TOS, and we want to improve it so it will live longer.

Oh no I’m at work getting paid for doing not much so I’m here to laugh at people who either

A) don’t want it enough to pay for it, or
B) want it so badly but they can’t afford the spare $25-$35 a month.

You want to improve it? Vote with your wallet, not whine  The only reason IMC will change the price is its first week sale didn’t meet its target expectation. It’s not because you were making noise on the forum! HAHA

I get it that your money isn’t hard to earn, good for you.
Without communication you think people can change anything? They nerf/buff classes because people were making noise. They let premium items tradeable because people were making noise. They let free players trade items because they were making noise.
Maybe posting on the forum won’t impact IMC directly, but it let others know, that it could be something different, it could be better, and everyone would take the same solution.
Just take what you said as an example, most players decided not to buy. If they were by themselves, without knowing that others thinking the same thing, how do they know that it’s the best action to take? Or they just simply too cheap to pay for it? Heck I didn’t even realize it was overpriced until someone compare it to monthly fee of subscription games.

You haven’t had a girl wake you up on sunday and say they want brunch?
You get brunch and mimosas for like 50-60 bucks on sunday … why? because betches be cray.

Those who complain are poor son’s of b!tches. You don’t like the game then GTFO.

My post did not imply that.
If the costs are too high then you reduce the # of average users purchasing stuff. This doesn’t apply to whales, they’ll purchase anyway, at any price.
Reading comprehension, it’s important.

Hi guys, I’m pretty new to this game but not to the whole F2P ordeal. I have some questions about the DLC

1: Do we actually need DLC to enjoy the entire game in terms of leveling/map access? Or is it just a luxury to level faster/look “cooler”?

2: If it’s just a luxury to level faster, why is everybody acting like it’s absurd that it’s expensive? If you want to win in PVP you either need to take the time to level or you can “cheat”(if you will) to advance faster.

Since I’m new I’m not really sure what the packs entail really other than “hats”(which just sounds like a costume I assume?) and Tokens, but are those absolutely necessary to complete the game? Or are there any restrictions limited to free-players that would be making the game incomplete and therefore not worth it?

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal, I actually kind of like the RPG-grind. Maybe If I wanted a pack I’d put in 20 bucks for one month. I wouldn’t pay for a year but I might pay for a month. But if all we get are tokens and hats, I mean, I’m doing pretty OK without them right now. Not really sure what to think yet as I’m still a bit below lvl100 but I’m still enjoying the game for what it is so far

It’s a big deal when it’s not worth it compared to the rest of the market. Remember, this game doesn’t exist on it’s own universe, it has to compete with every other MMO out there and get new players/keep the old ones.
It’s not just a matter of how expensive it is or isn’t for you as an individual, having packs with unjustifiable prices (i.e. the same money would get you 2 months premium on a AAA game, slightly more would get you permanent premium on others) hurts the game’s image, retention rate and revenue.

Get a brain maggot…

I will pass.

I understand it’s expensive, and as someone who pays rent I would never belittle someone who couldn’t spare 20 to 50 dollars on an RPG - and as someone had PM’d me, I heard about not being able to trade between alts

  • Which brings me to my next question: Are you upset because IMC is wanting money for what should be general basics of the game? Are there more features like the trading thing that you find to be offensive and greedy? Or are we just talking about luxury things? What is up for DLC that you like that you feel is too much money? If it’s just luxury things like costumes and EXP boosts, wouldn’t it be IMC’s prerogative? Or are there other general things? I really don’t know I’m not trying to challenge or be some right-fighter, I want more to know what /I’m/ missing. Maybe I can picket with you guys if I heard more than vague statements

I’d guess the majority of the upset replies stem from the fact that the token tp price & the pack cost is extremely high when compared to other premium subscriptions such as SWTOR, ELO, heck even buying the GW2 exp. when it’s on sale and that’s a permanent upgrade.
If it was just boosts and extra stuff it wouldn’t be as bad as their premium version being so pricy when compared to pretty much anything else.
Just 5$ more if you’re from EU and you just bought yourself a AAA blizzard tittle instead of a 1 month subscription.
Same price is 6 months of the least-pricy option in SWTOR.
Same price is nearly 3 months of TERA’s premium.
ELO’s premium pack for 3 months is 5 EUR cheaper.
It’s bad for business when your product is among the most expensive ones in such a crowded market.
