Divergent's XP Feedback

Hello!
Well I got in beta only to lvl 32, so I was really happy, when I read the XP rates were lowered, and we will get them 2x-4x quicker. Well after reading some other XP Feedbacks I was shocked, how positive they was. I got only to lvl 32 mainly because I wanted to be with my friends and I like them more than a MMORPG. I really don’t wanna spend my life on a PC, and even if I wanted to, I can’t. I’ve got school, I’ve got love problems, and I have friends and family.
So after 30 min. grinding from lvl 29-30 I asked myself… “Why do the other people spend 20-22 hours playing a game, that wipes in 6 days? Why do they make a game more important than sleep, friends and Family?” Well… I couldn’t find answer, but I told myself, I DON’T want be like them.
That all means, I just don’t agree with making a level for an hour, While I’m at the begining of leveling.
Then I agree with suggestion that @vitadrink469 made:

  1. Put at least 1-2 optimal grind spots for every map or at least more than 1 per level bracket. I don’t know if this will affect the servers because more data is needed per extra mobs but something needs to be done. At level 90, my party and I had a lot of trouble getting to level 100. We couldn’t find a place to get efficient exp to level at a decent pace. If we were to grind at the location we were in, it would take us approximately 1-2 hours to level once. We searched for hours for a location to grind… but couldn’t find a single optimal grind spot that had a good density of mobs for 5 man parties. Every map level 85+ consisted of 3-5 mobs per screen-after killing all the mobs per “Field room” you’d be left with pretty much 0 spawn. You would have to travel a good 20 seconds to reach the next set of spawns.
We need the density and spawn rate at every map to be something like Tenet Garden north of the goddess. If you have never been there… Then I guess Miner’s Village east side before the bridge, it has a lot of vegetables…? Onions? Bulbs? =]
  2. More channels. I don’t know how frustrating it was for the people that was stuck leveling with the majority of the population, but one can imagine it was filled with people. Optimal grind spots had at least 4 parties KSing/Fighting for mobs, even blues. Your exp rate is greatly reduced because of that and frustration of being KS’d will cause people to stop playing. Allow Dynamic channel system. A lot of population = more channels. Low population = Low channel (At the very least 2)
  3. Field Bosses should give exp equivalent to a rare blue mob. It is kind of sad to kill a field boss to see that your exp bars did not move a pixel. You spent a good 5-10 minutes killing that epic field boss with your friends/party and all you get is loot and exp that you can get in 10 seconds. Loot is great and all but exp is just as important. (Btw I am talking about Field bosses in dungeons or those that spawn on their own, not by the party mission F6)
  4. Last but not least, rare mob spawn rates…? This is not something I really agree on but I can see it helping in terms of leveling and pushing the players to get to a certain level so they can move on to another grind location.

Edit: I Would like to make the Mob XPs bigger
Why? Example:

Cauliflower lvl 1, Gives 100 Exp/CExp Rate
To level 2 you will need 12 Exp (One kill to get to next level)

Pino lvl 60, Gives 120 Exp/CExp
To level 61 you will need 151,932 Exp (1267 kills to get to next level)

The reason why you EXP so slow is, the Mob XP does incearse slowly, so it would be good to make them incearsing quickly.

Man u made a interesting point, I like the low xP, but there are people that don’t, I belive thar the xp rate won’t be the main pillar of the game, so to me this doesn’t matter i hope that the xp rate make everybody happy

Well I just don’t like it isn’t incearsing, so I don’t think it makes someone happy. When you’re strong it has no point to kill mobs with big lvl. So none "Hah Bitch I am tanking them at lvl 30, and you can’t kill them at 40 :'D "

Uh? Are you sure about that mister?

I remember that in the early levels monsters’d give me 10, 20ish exp. And at later levels a single monster’d give me 700, 1000.

I’ve datamined and they all have ~100 EXP
You can look on DB :
lvl 1+ Mobs: http://www.tosbase.com/database/monsters/?name=&order=Level&type=Normal&race=All&element=All&armor=All&search=search

lvl 87+ Mobs: http://www.tosbase.com/database/monsters/?name=&order=Level&type=Normal&race=All&element=All&armor=All&page=10

when i was level 40 and grinding with a pt, i got 600-700 xp each tick

EDIT: The links you posted said exp Rates not the actual exp so the exp kinda changes depending on how you grind (either in pt or solo)

Albeit I understand you’ve datamined it, I can attest that that mobs certainly didn’t give only 100 exp at higher levels. I finished the KrCBT at level 165 and I can say without a doubt that higher level monsters would give more exp.

This table you datamined says literally all monsters give around a ~100/150 exp range. I’d kill a monster at my level, they’d give 6000 or so Exp. Even considering KR had increased EXP rates, so even if there was something crazy like a 6x exp rate those monsters would still give 1000 exp when normally killed. I think these tables are awfully wrong.

he forgot the word ‘RATE’ was written there
