Are Dina Bee Sorcerers who afk and use auto pots considered as bots? Literally every channel has one and u see a couple of them channel surfing trying to find an empty channel.

No, necros can do afk farming since their skills allow it by itself, while sorc needs to do macros for autopotions.

Well, if they’re using any sort of macro to autopotion it is indeed bannable, because he/she’s using third party programs to benefit themselves in game.

Its not bot, its afk farming with autopots lmao. Bot is a program that uses point intervals and go to specific routes to kill monsters. This one is use of auto pot macros and afking. Where did u get the bot idea, lol?
I was just answering the question. But yeah, auto-potion is bannable, I’d say. Also, if we want to get technical, botting would be using a software to execute a command by proxy (which an auto-potion program is doing). But there’s still no real evidence that these people are using auto-pot bots.

unless this is a feature included in the game… then it’s a “bot”.
a typical “bot” is simply a very complicated macro. but it doesn’t matter how simple the effect is, anything that automates play for you that isn’t part of the original game is not permitted.
eg Dispeller scrolls can be set to automatic in the game.
Potions cannot.
therefore automatically using potions via a macro is not permitted, and technically falls under the category of “botting”.
something to consider: there’s an auto-potion mod that has been published which automatically eats a potion for you whenever your HP/SP falls below a certain point. THIS mod is probably the first one that would be considered offensive by IMC’s standards on mods.

Anyone could have broken equips, be naked and be level 200 in Dina Bee. Personally, I do think it’s a bot, but the evidence isn’t conclusive. It’s persuading, but not a hard fact. Nobody can say they are breaking any rules without making an assumption, one way or another. It’s really up to IMC at this point.

There is auto-pot addon now so AFK farming really easy, illegal or not IMC must have the statement about this.
The autopot addon is the problem, without it, they cant afk
Before that they have to searching and setup for macro, now with addon it is just easy.

Sorc dont need to repair eq for farming
As a sorc farming there as well, the only way to tell is to ice wall them to corner since their summons will follow. If they dont respond and still eat pots, they are macro. If they respond, they are not. Easy. Dont butthurt just because sorc have easy time there.

yes there is autopot addon on reddit and it’s clearly unfair to use it
